Burning Passion Chapter 162

The words good morning baby greets Rebecca's ears when she arises from her slumber only to steer into Dian's eyes.

She smiled to be awoken by such words and a loving friend by her side.

Rebecca was wondering if she made a mistake, how will it affect their friendship and her performance at the workplace knowing that they share the same workspace.

This was definitely a call for concern to Rebecca whose thoughts were all over the place now wondering what the future brings.

This still does not break the good mood she is in. She kisses Dian gently and tells her good morning. "So what's the plan for today?" asked Dian. Rebecca rises from her bed to boot up her laptop and says "I’ll see where the day takes me or us if you care to join, I just have to check my messages first." Dian nods her head in confirmation that she will spend the day with her.

Rebecca checks her email where she notices that Tony had texted her.

Tony- Hey Becky I have been thinking about you a lot if you come online and do not see me please call this phone number to get in touch with me 123-5678

He was sure a trusting individual would send a complete stranger his phone number. Rebecca started thinking.

“There is no need for me to make this decision on my own especially being as inexperienced as I am in the field” thought Rebecca.

So she quickly turned to Dian for advice that seemed to be remarkable at handling these situations. After letting Dian know of the full nature of the situation and how she feels about the person, she thinks it might be worth her time to check him out. This has Dian pondering the routes to take to handle this effectively.

“we should try calling him, after all it would not hurt just to say hi and he cannot do too much damage by just knowing your phone number, plus he trusted you enough to send his first '' what Dian said made logical sense to Rebecca so she dialed the number.

“Hello Good morning” answers a masculine voice Rebecca recognized that it was Tony. “Hello is this Tony” asked Rebecca. “Yes it is, can I inquire who is calling?” says Tony, sounding so polite and intelligent. “This is Becky we met online the past two nights”

Rebecca replied.

Dian was snickering and then came and stuck her tongue in Rebecca’s free ear and then whispered the liar jokingly. “Oh hey Becky I was hoping you would call, thank you so much for calling. I was devastated last night when I went online and did not see you” said Tony sounding sincere and excited.

“I am sorry I was extremely busy last night and could not free my hands to come online. I was thinking a lot about you too” Rebecca replied. While Dian was still playing with her ear and kissing her neck.

“I know this is sudden but can I see you today please and if you are skeptical about meeting me we can meet in a public place of your choosing” Pleads Tony. Dian whispers “say yes I will come with you in case he tries any funny business.”

Rebecca tells him that she will send him the location that they will meet at and the time in text. “Ok it is a date then, cannot wait to see you” says Tony sounding extremely excited.

Rebecca gets off the phone and turns around and kisses Dian and says “what do you want for breakfast.” Dian says “I have a better idea text Tony to meet us at a diner and that way we can accomplish two tasks, have breakfast and meet your mystery guy.”

Rebecca wrestled with the thought for a while but being a person who likes accomplishing multiple tasks in one time frame she immediately jumped at the idea and decided where they should meet him.

After texting Tony to meet them at a diner in the town in an hour 's time , both she and Dian got a shower and all dressed up to go out. Rebecca was not dressed to kill or even stun.

She had on an ankle long white skirt and a blue blouse that did not do a good job of emphasizing on her assets.

This could not be helped because her wardrobe contained a limited amount of garments and Dian herself was dressed as such because she had to borrow clothing from Rebecca seeing as the only thing she brought was a toothbrush.

The two very attractive women did not mind this very much because their facial features were enough to draw attention away from their unattractive clothing. Dian and Rebecca left the apartment with their goal to meet Tony and have breakfast.

When they arrived in the town they stood at a vantage point where they could see him approaching the diner but he would not be able to see them.

This idea came straight from the mischievous mind of Dian, Rebecca thought this was ingenious to see if he comes alone or not what he appears to be. A text comes in from Tony “I am approaching the diner so if you are not there as yet I will be more than happy to wait.”

They started to look intensely now to see who is walking up to the diner that bears a resemblance to Tony’s profile picture. “That is him, '' Rebecca said excited and nervous at the same time. Tony walked to the front of the deli and was looking around.

He was in long khaki pants and buttoned up short sleeve shirt. Rebecca was there staring at him from afar and worried if he would not like her when he sees her because he has never seen her face before.

This was a spontaneous decision to meet him all of a sudden but Rebecca felt safe with her friend Dian by her side. Briskly walking Rebecca walks up to him in anticipation of what the introduction will be like.

Rebecca walks up to Tony and says “You are Tony right.” Tony places his gaze on her and a slight pause while he formulates what is happening in his mind. “Hi Becky it is nice to meet you in person at last.” Tony says this and hugs Rebecca tightly like he was starving for this moment.

Rebecca is stunned but the warm embrace of the hug forces her to feel calm and at ease plus he smells great, this forces Rebecca to also wrap her arms around him. “It is nice to meet you too and this is my friend Dian” says Rebecca while introducing Dian.

Tony says “it is a pleasure to meet you Dian '' and stretches out his hand to shake hers. Seeing this made Rebecca pleased, because from his previous actions hugging her and shaking Dian’s hand instead of hugging her as well, this symbolizes that he is more comfortable with Rebecca or just finds her more appealing. “We plan on having breakfast at this establishment. Do you mind joining us in doing so? '' Rebecca asked.

Tony smiled to hear her proposal and replied “it would be my pleasure.”
