Linda panicked and grabbed Derek Walsh's hand.

Derek Walsh thought for three seconds.

"Fine, I admit there is a basement here, but it's not what you think. We only use it for shelter!"

"Hmph! Take us there now!"

My father had his men tie them both up and lead the way. Sure enough, behind a bookshelf by the wall, they found the entrance to the basement.

Linda's heart was racing, but Derek Walsh remained calm.

My father rushed down to the basement impatiently.

His men began searching room by room for me, but strangely, whether it was cabinets or coffins, everything was empty!

With one look from my father, Linda was immediately pinned to the ground by bodyguards.

Derek Walsh rushed over to apologize. "Mr. Davis, please spare my daughter! She... she's just young and doesn't know better! Quick, Linda, apologize to Mr. Davis!"

But Linda still wanted to argue. Soon, the heavily beaten Marcus was brought up.

Seeing my father, he immediately knelt down. "You... you're Sarah's father? What are you doing here? You... you're the crime boss they're talking about?"

Linda cried in Marcus's arms. My father bound them together.

"Walsh, now it's quite clear. Your daughter seduced my son-in-law! And now you've kidnapped her! I'm counting to three. If you still don't tell me where my daughter is, this place will disappear from the map tomorrow, and your whole family will cease to exist!"

By now my father's men had turned the entire compound upside down but still hadn't found me. There must be other hidden spaces in this compound!

Linda struggled, trying to hit Marcus, but Marcus held her down firmly.

"You bitch! I only played along with you for a few days because I thought your father was powerful. Now I don't like you anymore, you homewrecker! Tell my father-in-law where else there are secret rooms here!"

Linda's face flushed red with anger. "Marcus Chen, I never thought you were this kind of person! Believe it or not, I'll show Mr. Davis all our chat records?"

With that, a phone fell out of Linda's pocket.

Linda cried out. The next second, the phone was in my father's hands.

"No!"

My father gripped Linda's face with one hand while unlocking the phone with the other. Soon the chat records between Marcus and Linda appeared on the screen.

Marcus's words were earnest, every line full of love for Linda. Even during the days when he was fighting with me, he was complaining to Linda.

And scrolling to the very bottom of the chat records was the complete truth of their conspiracy to kidnap me!

My father handed the phone to his subordinate. "Go make a backup. Then find all the employees in this factory and question them one by one about any secret rooms. Anyone with information gets a ten million dollar reward immediately!"

Where there's a heavy reward, there are brave men. Instantly many people raised their hands.

What my father hadn't expected was that underground in this factory, there was a dense maze of secret rooms, and these employees only knew about some of them.

Helplessly, my father could only call in employees from headquarters to help search together.

After three days and nights, my father barely slept a wink. The Walsh father and daughter hadn't had a drop of water but still refused to talk. Marcus had passed out entirely.

Just when all hope seemed lost, a cry of alarm rang through the building.

"Mr. Davis! I found your daughter!"
