Since last meal, I'd added Sebastian Hayes on WeChat.

Several times I asked him to dinner, he never responded.

I sighed. My dad suddenly appeared from somewhere.

He shouted: "Diana Parker, you haven't successfully hooked him yet?"

He said angrily: "Isn't it just sleeping with him? Is it that hard? Just strip and get in his bed."

"I don't believe a man can refuse what's delivered to him."

My eye twitched. I pulled Dad's sleeve, voice low: "Dad, keep your voice down. Is this something to be proud of? The servants are here."

Dad glanced at the servants, meeting the butler's gossipy expression.

His expression visibly stiffened.

Somewhat embarrassed, he issued a final ultimatum: "Anyway, you must land Sebastian Hayes for me."

He patted my shoulder, saying earnestly: "The company depends on you."

Although Sebastian Hayes ignored me, fortunately Mrs. Hayes had a good impression of me.

She invited me to their house again. My eyes lit up, and I immediately agreed.

After arriving at the Hayes house, Mrs. Hayes pulled me aside and whispered: "Stay at our house tonight? Sebastian Hayes is home."

"Okay." I nodded. Good thing Mrs. Hayes was helping.

I believed I could land Sebastian Hayes soon.
