As I finish getting changed, which took me longer than I'd like to admit, Charlotte busts into the room with a pissed off facial expression.

What the hell.

"Carolina told me what you're about to do" she says with crossed arms

"Okay?" I say with an annoyed tone as I roll my eyes

"I can't let you leave, not until your mom comes back" she says which causes me to look at her with a new found annoyance

"You're not the boss of me, I can do what I want when I want," I say as I slowly stalk my way towards her

"If I want to go home then I'm going to go home" I say as I glare at her

"Then I'm going with you" she say which makes me groan in annoyance

"No you're not" I say as I put on a pair of sandals and walk out of her room

"I'm not letting you stay there alone with a broken arm and rib" she says with a calm tone as she gently grabs my wrist

"I'll be fine" I say as she pulls me into her hold

"Please Aspen, just stay until you're fully healed" she pleads

"I-" I start only to get interrupted

"I know that you're tired, please just listen to me this one time" she says

If I stay in the same room as her who knows what'll happen.

We might kiss again or worse... Hayden might find out.

God, this couldn't be anymore messed up.

I've been lying awake in bed for an hour just thinking about Charlotte and I's kiss last night.

It's was slow and passionate.

But hungry and wanting, at the same time.

It makes my body shiver by thinking about it.

I shouldn't feel these things.

She doesn't like you, she's your best friend.

If she's my best friend then why did she kiss me as if I was her lover?

I rub my temples since I feel a headache coming on.

I slowly and carefully get off of Charlotte's bed, careful not to wake her.

When I'm successfully off her bed I make my way out of her room and downstairs towards the kitchen.
