I Fell in Love with My Best Friend Chapter 85

As soon as I walk into my house my mom starts to scold me about not telling her where I was.

That's when the tears that I've been holding fell free.

I starting to cry and it wasn't pretty.

"I'm so sorry, it'll never happen again" I whisper as I look down at my shoes

"Aspen, sweetheart, what's wrong?" She asks with a worried tone

"We broke up, mom" I say as my bottom lip shakes

"Aww, What happened?" She asks as she slowly guides me to the living room

She doesn't sound mad.

She sounds upset but understanding.

"I don't want to talk about it right now, maybe later" I say with a small smile so that she doesn't worry too much

"Okay" she says and kisses my head before letting me go

I stand up from the couch and make my way upstairs towards my room. As soon as I enter my room I'm hit with all the memories of us in here.

My heart starts to ache more and I feel my legs shake before I collapse onto the bed.

I start to cry harder as all the memories replay in my head like a movie.

I eventually fall asleep from dehydration and exhaustion.
