My brother is a domineering CEO, and I'm the domineering CEO's sister.

Before my brother brought me home, I was an orphan collecting trash.

Out of empathy, I sponsored a girl in circumstances similar to mine.

I never expected she'd be my crush's sister.

I kept a low profile at school, but my crush used his sister's sponsorship to humiliate me without restraint.

He even forced me to kneel and apologize to his white moonlight.

Until I revealed my identity as a wealthy heiress—then he immediately dumped his girlfriend and confessed to me.

After class, I drank a bottle of carbonated beverage and unconsciously put the empty bottle in my backpack.

"Yo, the little trash collector is collecting trash again?"

Ethan Foster's mocking voice rang out, and classmates laughed along.

He'd just returned from playing basketball, casually tousling his damp hair, his handsome features glowing brilliantly in the sunlight.

"Here, these are ours."

Ethan grinned as he tossed several empty bottles on the floor. They scattered everywhere, rolling far away.

"Five-hundred-dollar bottles of mineral water. You've never tasted them in your life, have you?"

I merely glanced at them indifferently. "I just drank spring water air-freighted from abroad this morning."

The whole class instantly burst into laughter. Ethan laughed so hard he clutched his stomach.

"Bragging without even making a draft first?"

"Really gone crazy wanting money. Something's wrong with her brain."

I sighed and returned my attention to my book.

However, they never passed up any opportunity to bully someone.

Ethan snorted with laughter: "Don't be embarrassed. No one will laugh at you. Even if you pick up trash, you're still our classmate."

I'd long grown numb to others' belittlement and mockery.

Only Ethan—his cruel words were like blades, stabbing my heart until it bled.

I didn't understand how the kind, gentle boy from years ago could have become like this.

"Willow, Ethan means well. Just pick up those bottles."

Grace Miller suddenly stood beside my desk. Though she wore a smile on her pale, delicate face, it couldn't hide the contempt in her eyes.

I tapped my desk and laughed lightly: "Then I'll trouble you, Grace, to pick them up for me."

Grace's expression changed slightly. She forced a smile and pulled at the corners of her mouth. "But I don't need these bottles."

"Then why would you think I need them?" I countered.

Her eyes immediately reddened. She looked at Ethan with moist eyes, truly pitiable.

This boring trick of Grace's was ridiculous and laughable to me, having grown up in an orphanage.

But Ethan fell for it. He said furiously: "Willow, being poor is one thing, but speaking so harshly—people like you should stay in the mud forever!"
