The center of the pack was shrouded in a dark and heavy atmosphere, marked by sadness and mourning. Garnet, the Alpha King, wore a weary expression, witnessing yet another burial of a Luna and her stillborn. It wasn't Gwenyth being laid to rest, but the fifth Luna the Moon Goddess had sent to my father. Each one of them, is a victim of actions orchestrated by me, to eliminate any threat to my rightful claim to the throne.

Ignis, my confidante and involuntary accomplice, observed the ceremony by my side. There was no room for remorse, only the certainty that I was securing my place as the next leader of the pack, even if it meant sacrificing the lives of those who should lead alongside Garnet.

I glanced at Ignis and whispered that I would wait for her by the river. Ignis responded with a simple nod, understanding the ominous nature of my invitation. With determined steps, I moved away from the crowd and headed towards the river, where the moon reflected its light on the calm waters.
