On the giant screens of Times Square, Scarlett was smiling confidently.

She was the face of a luxury lipstick brand, looking dazzling.

It was hard to reconcile this image with the girl who used to claw at me and provoke me in private.

Julian was right about one thing.

They told me to be generous.

But I hated him. I hated Julian for betraying me.

I hated that he turned me into a hysterical madwoman while he lived freely with his lover in his arms.

I wasn't willing to give in.

Until the paparazzi caught them spending the night at a hotel.

It blew up. To save Scarlett's future and reputation, Julian made a decisive choice.

He went public.

The headlines were all about the "forbidden love" between the Mafia heir and the rising female star.

I snapped. I ran to Julian's office and screamed at him.

Julian quietly told Scarlett to leave first, which broke me even more.

I smashed an ashtray over his head, leaving him bloody. I screamed that he was trash from the gutter.

In the end, he looked at me coldly and shouted, "Yes! I am trash! I cheated! If you can't handle it, then divorce me!"

The room went silent.

But in the end, I was the one who spoke first.

I sounded even more hysterical, more like a lunatic than before.

"Why should I divorce you?!"

"Why should I step aside for that bitch?!"
