Seducing the Mafia Boss Chapter 14
Someone ignored the security guards' attempts to stop them and forcibly kicked open the conference room door.
Before anyone could speak, a long knife was thrust into the table.
"Shut up."
Ethan had a cigarette in his mouth, his tone cold and indifferent, yet somehow making one's scalp tingle.
"Listen to our Victoria speak."
Uncle was scared pale, taking a long while to react, his lips trembling.
"You're crazy."
"Threatening people with a knife in broad daylight—believe it or not, I'll call the police to arrest you!"
Ethan laughed lazily.
But his tone was deliberate and extremely clear.
"You're welcome to try whether the police arrive first or you die first."
The powerful aura he burst out with in an instant was definitely something only desperados could possess.
Everyone in the conference room instantly fell silent as chickens, too scared to breathe.
Only then did Ethan satisfactorily withdraw his knife, speaking to me with pride in his tone, as if asking for credit.
"They've all shut their mouths."
"Victoria, you continue."
My heart pounded wildly. I could hardly believe Ethan would appear so openly in public like this.
Thinking this was an opportunity he'd risked his life to win for me, I forcibly suppressed my inner sourness, stood up, and walked before Uncle.
Without a word, I slapped him hard across the face.
"In the current Shaw Corporation, I'm the one who holds the most shares."
"No matter if I'm male or female, only I can sit in the Chairman and CEO position."
"You have no say here. Understand?"
Uncle seemed to have the water in his brain knocked out by that slap, finally sullenly shutting his mouth.
Their matters could be settled slowly later.
What urgently needed handling now was someone else.
I ordered everyone cleared out. Soon, only Ethan, Lucas, and I remained in the conference room.
"Victoria."
Ethan familiarly called my name.
After walking to my side, he even clingily reached out to embrace my waist.
But his gaze fell on Lucas beside me, his eyes clearly hostile.
His words reeked of vinegar.
"Who is he?"
I didn't make a sound, just slapped him hard across the face.
"Don't you want to live?"
