Finally, one friend couldn't take his pestering and gave him a number, tone cold: "This is Claire's studio's public contact. If you have business, reach out yourself."
Ethan grabbed it like a lifeline, immediately dialing.
The call connected. A young, calm, businesslike female voice answered: "Hello, Claire Morrison Studio."
"I need to speak to Claire! I'm Ethan Pierce!" His voice was urgent.
Silence for a second, then clear, distant response: "I'm sorry, Mr. Pierce. Ms. Morrison's schedule is extremely full. She explicitly stated she won't accept any personal contact related to you. For business collaboration, please email the studio. For other matters, please communicate through attorneys. Goodbye."
