Divorce proceedings with Rachel went quickly.

Ethan used every available resource and method, giving Rachel no chance to cling on.

He gave her massive compensation sufficient for lifetime extravagance, but conditions were harsh—completely relinquish custody and visitation rights to their son, immediately leave New York, never to return.

Rachel cried, made scenes, even threatened suicide.

"Nothing to do with you?!" Rachel laughed shrilly, voice venomous. "Stop acting innocent! If you weren't haunting him, why would Ethan throw me away?! You seductress!"

Saying this, she raised her hand to slap Claire's face viciously!
