My Ex-Boyfriend Regretted It After We Broke Up Chapter 9
He didn't need to ask. He was certain I had lost my mind.
If I wasn't insane, how could the woman who had loved him for eight years, who was always so quiet and obedient, hit him for some random man?
It must be a dream, he thought.
But then he saw me interlacing my fingers with Gabriel’s, asking softly if he was hurt, if he needed to go to the ER.
Julian looked broken. His eyes turned red, filled with disbelief.
Sienna crawled up from the ground, no longer hiding her jealousy. She pointed a finger at me and screamed.
"You shameless bitch! Julian wanted to marry you, and you were cheating on him with this man-mistress all along!"
In the past, when Sienna spread lies, I endured it.
But now, calling Gabriel a "man-mistress"?
I chuckled.
I bent down and took off my right high heel—a Louboutin with a hard, red sole. I walked up to Sienna.
In the blink of an eye, I did something no one expected.
"Mmph!! Mmh... Ahhhh!!"
I slapped her mouth repeatedly with the heel of my shoe.
Sienna tried to back away, eyes bulging, but I grabbed her hair and held her in place.
Within seconds, her mouth was swollen and bloody. She screamed and cried.
While I was beating her, she looked at Julian with teary, pleading eyes.
But Julian just stood there.
When I finally threw her to the ground like trash, Julian rushed over—not to her, but to me.
He snatched the shoe from my hand and knelt, trying to put it back on my foot.
"Chloe, don't be mad. I know you aren't the woman she says you are. I see it now. We became like this because Sienna drove a wedge between us..."
"I promise, I won't be soft on her anymore. I’ll fire her tomorrow. Okay? So let's not break up. Chloe, I really know I was wrong."
I glanced at Sienna, who looked like death.
I took off my other shoe and threw it right in Julian’s face.
"You could fire a hundred Siennas, and it wouldn't change the fact that we are broken up."
I turned to leave.
A trembling hand grabbed the hem of my dress.
It was Julian. I had never seen him look so pathetic.
"Don't go... just tell me what I did wrong? Did you really get with this guy? Chloe, I don't believe you would be this cruel to me..."
I looked at him with disdain. "Let go."
He shook his head stubbornly. His voice was terrifyingly hoarse.
"Chloe, look at me. Unless you look me in the eye and say you don't love me... unless you say you love Gabriel... I won't believe it."
I turned around. I stared into his eyes, which were now swimming in desperate tears.
