The Fearless Chapter 6

While other players fought desperately for survival against demons, I was lounging on the couch eating fruit.

"Luna, come give Mommy a massage."

The Ghost Child lost a game to me. According to the rules, she had to obey me.

An S-rank mini-boss giving me shoulder and foot massages, while an SSS-rank mega boss bustled in the kitchen for me—this feeling could only be described as blissful.

"Hmph, when Granny gets back, your good days are over. She's not as simple and gullible as my dad. You're dead for sure!"

The Ghost Child bared her teeth at me, half curse, half warning.

Soon enough, the food was ready. The color, aroma, and flavor... none were particularly impressive.

But I could tell the Nine-Eyed Reaper had put in effort. His body was covered in black and white soot marks.

"Woman, this is your last supper. Eat quickly. When the old hag gets back, you'll be on your way to the afterlife!"

The eighteenth floor housed three demons total: besides the Nine-Eyed Reaper and the Ghost Child, there was an SS-rank Ghost Granny.

From their tone, I could tell this Ghost Granny was terrifying and evil—not easy to deal with.

The Ghost Child spoke up: "Ghost Granny has three taboos. First, don't touch her burial shroud. Second, don't agree to any of her requests. Third, don't let her smell fear on you. Otherwise, she'll torture you to death in the most despairing way!"

I grew even more excited. "Really? The old lady's that hardcore? Perfect! She better make me feel fear!"

The Nine-Eyed Reaper frowned, our eyes meeting. He snorted coldly. "What are you looking at? You think I'd help you? Naive!"

"Hubby, come here~"

"Boring woman!"

The Nine-Eyed Reaper turned and went back to his room. A red pair of scissors dropped from his body.

The Ghost Child called out: "Dad, you dropped something."

A disdainful voice came from the bedroom: "Just a piece of trash. Have someone throw it out for me."

I picked up the scissors. Seeing the item description, my eyes lit up. An S-rank prop! The Nine-Eyed Reaper clearly gave this to me on purpose... such a tsundere.
