The truth was exactly what Preston had suspected. Ronald had done it on purpose.

He'd even seen those viral parody videos online and still wasn't satisfied. He spent a wad of cash on promoting them.

Money wasn't a problem for him anymore.

Whatever amount Preston spent trying to bury the hype, Ronald matched it or doubled down to keep the buzz alive.

The situation was already weird enough to grab attention. The topic kept appearing and disappearing across platforms, which only made people more curious.

With all that attention, even Tracy, who hadn't been online much lately, caught wind of it.

She didn't know the full story, but she immediately knew it was Ronald's handiwork.

When she saw Ronald emerging from the kitchen with a freshly cooked meal, she couldn't contain her curiosity. "How did you pull all this off?"

Even though they lived in a bigger house now and could afford hired help, Ronald still loved cooking for Tracy every day.

Tracy enjoyed it too. She always finished everything when he cooked.

To both of them, it was a simple, heartwarming routine that brought them joy.

Ronald set the plate down and untied his apron before sitting across from her. He shot Tracy a mischievous look. "Want to take a guess first?"

He knew that even though Tracy had opened up about what happened at the Angelic Etiquette Academy, she hadn't completely healed from the pain.

Getting her involved in Preston's downfall might help ease some of that hurt.

Tracy could tell what Ronald was trying to do. She played along and thought for a moment. "That guy who splashed the fake blood was part of your setup, right? To make Preston look like an idiot?"

Ronald raised an eyebrow with a smug expression. "Pretty brilliant move, right?"

Tracy had to give him credit for that.

There were countless ways to embarrass someone, but dousing a guy who thought he was better than everyone else with fake blood in public was definitely unique.

Even better, who would think to destroy a man's reputation by calling him a homewrecker?

Not many people could come up with that angle.

But it seemed so obviously staged. How could it really damage Preston in any meaningful way?

Ronald noticed her confusion and grinned. "Preston and I grew up together. As someone the Wests kept around as Preston's stepping stone, no one knows him better than I do.

"Preston acts all cool and refined, like he's untouchable. But really, he's a complete narcissist. He even dresses perfectly just to sleep.

"And he refuses to use any bathroom outside his own room, like his divine ass can't possibly use a 'commoner's' toilet."

Ronald's voice dripped with contempt. "That guy values his image more than his life.

"Back when he was 18, a girl tried to get close to him. She playfully smeared birthday cake on his face. He completely lost it and shoved her whole face into the cake.

"Another time, he had stomach problems at school. His face turned green from holding it in. But he wouldn't use the bathroom with everyone around, especially not a shared one. He held it until school ended and could get home to his private bathroom."

Thinking about that incident, Ronald's eyes lit up with amusement. "You have no idea how loud he was or how awful the smell got.

"Afterward, he came out looking furious and fired all the maids. He even threatened and bribed everyone to forget what happened."

It was just a normal bodily function, but Preston's reaction made it impossible to forget.

Ronald had been right there watching the whole thing. God, he'd wanted to burst out laughing.

Preston even tried to get rid of him too, but Mateo still needed Ronald around, so Preston couldn't touch him.

That incident made Preston hate him even more, and he started targeting him every chance he got.

Tracy didn't know about what happened afterward, but she knew Ronald well.

She asked curiously, "With an opportunity like that, did you do anything?"

"You know me so well, Tracy," Ronald said with a grin. "I didn't do much. I just stood outside the bathroom door and recorded the sounds he was making.

"Then I hired a professional writer online to describe in detail how he held it all day at school and finally lost control at home. I posted the whole story across every platform I could find."

When he did that, Ronald didn't bother hiding his tracks.

He hadn't gained real power yet, so even if he tried to cover it up, Preston would have discovered him easily.

So he didn't hide at all. That way, it infuriated Preston even more.

Just like this time, Preston knew it was him but couldn't find proof. It was bound to drive him crazy.

Tracy hadn't expected Ronald to pull something so underhanded.
