They showed him photos and videos of Andrew.

They said, "We agreed to help Tracy kidnap this guy and lock him up. But that woman hasn't paid us for months, so we want to talk to her.

"She won't see us, but you're her biological brother. You can figure out a way to help us, right?"

Liam stared blankly at the screen showing Andrew. He wasn't sure if he was more shocked by what these people were saying or by how Andrew looked now.

In the video, Andrew wore ragged clothes. His hair was a mess, though his face was clean.

But it was covered in bruises. A dog chain hung around his neck, and he looked thin and terrified.

The person holding the chain laughed wildly and stepped on Andrew's back. Andrew just lay there, grabbing a piece of dirty jerky from the mud and shoving it into his mouth like a starving animal.

He looked just like a stray dog.

Liam had never seen Andrew like this.

In his memory, Andrew was always mature and composed.

Even when his sister-in-law Miranda had that accident years ago, he hadn't looked this broken.

Snapping back to reality, Liam felt a surge of anger.

He lunged forward and grabbed the man's collar. "What did you do to Andrew?!" he demanded furiously.

The man stayed calm and easily pried his hands off. "Whatever we did to him, it was all on Tracy's orders," he said.

"Just bring us to her, make her pay what she owes, and pay us some ransom money on top of that. We'll let him go."

He acted like a greedy thug who would do anything for cash. Liam didn't doubt him for a second.

Liam looked angry and disgusted. "This is illegal!" he shouted.

The man chuckled, unfazed. "If we didn't have the guts for this, we wouldn't have kidnapped Andrew and kept him locked up this long," he replied.

"Go ahead and call the cops. See if they get here before Andrew dies."

Liam's face turned red with rage. His eyes glared like he wanted to rip the man apart.

He'd already let Tracy down once. Now he just wanted her forgiveness. He didn't want to betray her again.

But he couldn't ignore Andrew.

If Tracy had ordered Andrew's kidnapping and imprisonment, it showed how deep her hatred ran. If he helped these guys, would Tracy hate him even more?

Despite all the hate, seeing Andrew like this should have cooled her anger by now.

Liam struggled with the decision.

The man didn't push him.

They seemed filled with guilt and regret toward Tracy now, but deep down, their selfishness hadn't changed.

Sure enough, after a long silence, Liam finally agreed.

Maybe to ease his conscience, he tried to sound tough. "Once you get the money, you let Andrew go. Don't use this to threaten Tracy again, or you'll regret it!" he said.

The man smiled. "Relax, all we want is the money," he replied.

Liam felt uneasy inside but chose to believe him.

Getting Tracy to meet wasn't easy. Otherwise, Liam wouldn't have failed to see her all these months.

But with the Angelic Etiquette Academy helping behind the scenes, he quickly found a reason to lure her out.

His excuse was selling his shares in the company to Tracy.

The only condition was meeting her in person.

As for why Liam wanted to see her, Tracy didn't think much of it.
