Goddess Of The Underworld. Chapter 42

As everyone finishes up breakfast and the plates are taken away, we all stand as the Alpha Kings do.

“We would like to speak to our sister in private.” Malachi says.

My mates all move slightly closer to me around the table where I stand and I give them each a look of understanding.

“I’m not going anywhere forever. I’ll be right here.”

“Come find us when you’re done, love.” Haiden kisses my temple first, followed by the others before everyone leaves.

“Shall we take this to the sitting room?” Arztec gestures to the door that leads to a modest library with huge windows overlooking the gardens and a set of comfy leather couches in the middle. I follow my brothers into the room where Julius closes the curtains while Arztec shuts the doors. I’m slightly taken a back when Malachi pulls me in for a hug. He holds me for a long minute before pressing a kiss to my forehead and passing me off to Julius who does the same, and then Arztec.

“I apologize, but with you still not being marked by your mates, they would not have appreciated us hugging you in front of them and we have missed you, little sister.” Arztec says softly, brushing the top of my hair. “We didn’t think you survived. We still don’t understand fully how, or why you were left at Tolaris Pack, but we are grateful, so grateful you are alive.”

“We have many things to discuss, Eveline. Please, sit with us.” Julius gestures to one of the club chairs in front of the couch where they sit together.

“Okay, well I guess there can’t be anymore mind-blowing events, so shoot.” I say trying to hide my nerves.

Julius leans forward taking my hands in his and I feel like a warm blanket in placed over my soul.

“What?”

He smiles, “My gift is that of feeling. I can sense emotions but also change them in others as well. Malachi has sight, he can see into one’s mind, to find their intentions, their memories, their thoughts. Arztec here has physical powers, his wolf and lycan strengths are enhanced well beyond any other.”

“I’m basically superman.” He grins triumphantly.

“Mother can communicate with anyone through her mind, but she has been quite weak since you were taken, and then from our father’s passing as well.” Julius says with a hint of sorrow.

“Oh…”

“Do not feel bad, Evelina. It is a gift in itself that we have found you. She will be overjoyed to meet you.”

“Which brings us to another point of discussion. Once you are appointed as Luna, have shifted and mated and marked your Alpha’s, we would like you to travel with us to our home to see her.” Malachi says as they all nod.

“Of course! Yes!” My heart doing mini flips in my chests at the thought of meeting my own Mum.

“Going back to that other not so nice topic…”Arztec shivers violently. “We must discuss with you what will happen when you mate and mark your Alpha’s.”

“Okay, woah, no. Look its great to have big brothers and all but we are NOT discussing what happens in the bedroom. No no no. I do not need a birds and the bees talk. Thank you but no thank you!” I spit out quickly.

“Trust me, we don’t want to have that conversation either.” Malachi starts. “It’s not the um…process of it, it’s what happens afterwards. Once you mate and mark your Alpha’s you must understand that they will then become next in line for the Royal Throne if anything were to happen to us whilst we have still not mated and had pups ourselves.”

“Oh…”

“Also, you must know that when you do mark them, with what you revealed to us at breakfast about Hades and Persephone’s gifts, they also might receive gifts from them as well. With that, if you are said to have responsibilities towards Hades and Persephone, I would believe that they would also share those as well, being mated to you. It is unknown though as this has never happened before.”

“Fuck.” I sit back in the chair, leaning my head upwards. Turns out there is more mind-blowing revelations.

“So you’re saying that I will essentially turn them into enhanced Alpha Kings who might also owe a debt to the God and Goddess of the underworld?”

“Technically they would be named Princes.”

“Huh?”

“Enhanced, Alpha Princes who might also owe a debt to the God and Goddess of the underworld.” Malachi corrects me.

“What the fuck.” I breath out. “and I get a wolf and a lycan?”

“Yep, twice the shift, twice the pain, but twice the fun as well.” Arztec winks.

Julius must send more of that calming blanket shit to my soul because I close my eyes and as the overwhelming feeling starts to leave me again.

"You said you already had shown a few gifts from Hades and Persepohne. Can we see them?" Julius asks softly as if he's trying to manage a wild animal.

“Someone would need to be hurt.” I mutter still with my eyes closed but open them quickly when I hear Arztec yelp. He has claw marks down his wrist and Malachi flutters his eyes innocently.

“Oops, looks like our brother is hurt. Would you mind?”

Arztec growls at him and I can’t help but giggle at their antics as I grab his arm and focus on the blood that drips from the slices. I will the blood to go back, for the wound to close, to be as it once was, for him to heal and it does.

Arztec pulls his arm back, rubbing it with his other hand and then looking up at me in awe.

“That’s pretty cool. What about this flower thing?”

Last time I made the flowers come back to life. I didn’t just make them out of nothing, but I wonder. I look at Malachi and try to imagine what he would look like with a pretty little pink crown of flowers. I imagine the smell, the petals, the shapes and then I blow out a long breath towards him, and the flowers being to sprout around his hair. They tangle a twist with little green vines. He reaches up to his head and feels around with his hands before pulling it down to inspect it in his hands while Arztec, Julius and I laugh.

“Now that one is super cool! Can you do that again when we’re doing something super important? Maybe when he’s in front of a crowd!” Arztec beams.
