For static shooting, 100 bullets had to be fired at a stationary target. To receive full marks, every shot had to hit the exact center, and the bullet holes had to overlap perfectly.

That kind of scoring standard was as ridiculous as asking a cub to defeat an Alpha.

"Number 23, hit 10 balls, 10 points."

"Number 37, hit 8 balls, 6 points."

Anyone scoring below 10 was eliminated on the spot. So far, the highest score had only reached 60, which would barely count as passing in a normal exam.

But after Thora's order, the difficulty had essentially doubled. For new applicants, it was indeed harsh.

Sitting back in her chair, Thora asked, "If it were you two years ago, could you have done it?"

Roxen answered without hesitation. "Yes."

"Then the full-score standard is reasonable," Thora said evenly. "If you could reach it two years ago, it's not excessive to expect the same from them."

There was something Roxen didn't say aloud. He could probably do it, but not necessarily pass perfectly in one go. Unless someone had extraordinary sensitivity to shooting or possessed a special ability, achieving full marks under that standard was nearly impossible.

Even so, he understood the candidates' mentality. But if they chose Blue Star Military Academy, they had to follow its rules. Anyone unwilling to abide by the rules didn't deserve to stay.

Roxen smiled faintly as he continued watching the examinees, a hint of amusement flickering in his eyes.

After a while, he realized Thora hadn't spoken again. He glanced back at her and noticed her lips pressed into a thin line. Her expression was tense, like something was off.
