The Apocalyptic Queen's Werewolf Journey Chapter 60: Infiltration
Third-person POV:
The class bell rang, and Thora sat in her seat, opening her textbook early.
She didn't know if it was her influence, but Class F, which used to ignore all the rules, was gradually following her example.
Especially when someone disrupted class order, Harvey, as the core of the class, would use his sheer pressure to scold them.
He forced them to quiet down and listen.
Everyone was shocked that slacker Harvey was actually getting motivated too.
But what they didn't know was that Harvey not only didn't want anyone disturbing Thora's learning but had also unconsciously started treating her as his role model.
After class, he'd secretly copy Thora's training rhythm, and even his sitting posture in class matched hers. He'd developed this vague sense that "following Thora is the right call."
Ever since Thora had saved him and Ashton last time, he'd completely considered her one of his own.
Even though Thora clearly hadn't awakened wolf power, she could suppress opponents through sheer combat ability. That kind of strength earned his deepest respect.
The teacher had also gotten used to Class F's transformation and was quite pleased.
She walked up to the podium but didn't start class. Instead, she announced, "Today, we have a new student joining the class. Let's give her a warm welcome."
A new student?
Class F was getting someone new?
Everyone exchanged confused glances but still gave her a round of applause out of courtesy.
Thora also looked up.
A girl wearing the Astralis College uniform bounced right through the doorway.
She had two low pigtails, with light brown hair falling past her chest in naturally wavy ends.
She smiled sweetly, her dimples making her look even younger, and introduced herself. "Hi everyone, I'm Shirley."
This adorable, sweet, soft girl instantly melted the entire Class F.
They all welcomed Shirley with great enthusiasm.
Shirley smiled with her eyes narrowed, a sharp glint flashing through them. Her gaze landed on Thora. "Hi, Thora."
Knowing looks were exchanged among them. The connection was now clear—Shirley knew Thora.
Thora's eyes sharpened.
Shirley had already walked toward her and looked at Luke with a cute expression. "Could you let me have this seat?"
Luke was a bit dazed, but faced with the soft, adorable girl's request, his body moved before his brain could catch up.
He picked up his laptop and obediently moved to a corner seat on the other side.
Shirley smiled and sat down right next to Thora.
"Thora, I haven't seen you in days. Did you miss me?" Shirley’s eyes curved in a mischievous grin.
The Class F students were stunned.
Was she really here to study? This girl clearly came here for Thora, right?
Even though Thora looked like that and it was really easy to mistake her for a boy, she was genuinely a girl.
Thora frowned. "I'm a girl."
"I know!" Shirley pouted with an aggrieved expression, puffing up her cheeks. "I just really like you. I'm so cute. How can you be so mean to me?"
Thora didn't say anything. She suddenly felt like she had energy but nowhere to use it.
Based on Oliver's attitude toward her that day, she clearly wasn't just some ordinary werewolf family's daughter.
Besides, Thora knew Shirley was only pretending to be harmless. In her eyes was a gleam sharper than a hawk.
After Shirley joined Class F, she started following Thora around like a shadow. From a distance, it looked like a cute little girl was clinging to a beautiful boy.
Although everyone found it bizarre, it was pretty easy on the eyes.
Luke looked out the window and saw Shirley hugging a stack of books while following beside Thora, chattering away nonstop.
In comparison, Thora remained expressionless, seeming to completely tune out Shirley's existence.
Luke held his laptop in his arms and directly input Shirley's photo into it, tapping a few keys. Immediately, a popup blocked his access.
S-rank?
He frowned. Shirley's basic information was easy to find, but trying to dig deeper was directly blocked by the security clearance.
Luke flexed his wrists and continued typing on the keyboard.
...
Meanwhile, a woman wearing a teacher's uniform walked into the electrical room.
Her crimson lips curved into a beautiful arc as she directly cut several wires, took out a fist-sized timed bomb hidden in her clothes, and embedded it inside.
At the same time, a man with an unfamiliar face entered the surveillance room.
The security guard monitoring the room saw the stranger enter and was just about to stand up and question him when his throat was slashed by the other man's knife, instantly ending his life.
The man sat down and tapped the surveillance screens a few times.
Instantly, the entire school's surveillance system crashed completely.
At the same time, everyone who had infiltrated Astralis College was carrying out their assigned tasks.
On the surface, the academy appeared calm, but it seemed to be brewing an approaching storm ...
