The white snow fell heavily all day.

At five in the evening, the room returned to silence.

Dominic stood on the balcony.

After letting the cold wind sober him up for a while, he sent a message to the profile picture that had been silent all day.

"Where are you right now?"

It was meant to be a demanding question.

But the moment it was sent, a giant red exclamation mark popped up.

Dominic gripped his phone, staring at it.

A sense of absurdity spread through his pitch-black pupils.

Luca had blocked him.

The realization made him want to laugh.

To protect that bastard, Luca would go this far?

Just then, a friend called him.

"Did you handle your business?" Jayden asked. "When are you coming back? The merger contracts are waiting for your signature."

Dominic was clearly in a bad mood. Even his voice sounded irritable. "A few days."

Jayden teased, "What could make you drop a multi-billion dollar deal and risk your life to fly back? Don't tell me you went to catch a cheater?"

Catch a cheater? Hah.

Dominic laughed mockingly.

He even got pregnant.

If Dominic hadn't come back, he would probably be handing the family fortune over to a mixed-blood mongrel tomorrow.

"Wait, is it true?"

Jayden was always good at guessing these things.

"I heard Luca is pregnant. Is it real? Someone else's seed?"

"What do you think?" Dominic retorted coldly.

"Holy shit," Jayden gasped. "Did you push him too hard? Did he have to go find someone else to conceive?"

Have to?

Dominic found those words incredibly ugly.

"Jayden, if you can't speak properly, don't speak."

Jayden laughed, trying to smooth things over. "Okay, okay. So how did you find out? Did you do a paternity test?"

"No need," Dominic said, his voice cold and disdainful. "I had a vasectomy years ago. He can't be pregnant with my child."

"But didn't you do that like five years ago? A werewolf's healing ability isn't a joke."

Jayden wanted to say more, but Dominic cut him off. "Are you bored?"

"Fine, fine, I'll shut up. Come back soon after you deal with it. It's just an abortion, right? Surely he can't be thick-skinned enough to keep the kid?"

The call ended.

Dominic's face grew darker.

Maybe he really would.
