The Banished Shy Luna Chapter 49

The door slammed shut behind us, the sound echoing like a gunshot. My back hit the wall before I had the chance to breathe, and then Toren’s mouth was on mine.

It wasn’t a kiss—it was a claim.

His lips crashed into mine, fierce and unrelenting, as if he’d been starving for me and finally allowed to feast. His tongue tangled with mine, stealing the breath from my lungs. My fingers clawed at his shoulders, desperate, nails biting into muscle as my knees threatened to give way under the sheer force of him.

His hands were everywhere—sliding along my jaw, gripping my waist, roaming lower until I swore he was branding me with his touch. With one sharp tug, he tore the tie of my robe loose. The silk slithered down my shoulders, falling to the floor in a useless heap.

Cool air licked my bare skin, but the heat of his gaze made me burn. His teeth grazed my lower lip, biting just hard enough to make me gasp, before his mouth descended to my throat. His fangs skimmed across my skin, sharp, dangerous, promising.

A helpless whimper slipped out of me.

The sound ignited something wild in my chest. My body surged forward with a primal need I didn’t recognize as my own until it consumed me. My fingers fisted in his shirt and ripped it open. I shoved him back against the wall and kissed him like fire—reckless, messy, unrestrained.

He growled low, the sound vibrating through me, fueling the hunger that clawed at my veins. His hands gripped my thighs and lifted me as if I weighed nothing. I wrapped my legs around his waist, gasping when his teeth sank into my shoulder—not enough to break skin, but enough to brand me with the warning that he could.

And Moon help me, I wanted him to.

“Starlight…” His voice was a rasp of pure need, rough with restraint. “You’ll undo me.”

“Then let me,” I whispered, kissing him harder, pouring every ounce of longing into his mouth.

His gaze devoured me, pupils blown wide, eyes glowing with his wolf. “Fuck, Starlight,” he groaned, his hands spanning my waist, possessive and trembling with control. “You’re exquisite.”

He rolled his hips into me, the thick ridge of his erection grinding against my core. The friction made me cry out, head tipping back against the wall.

“I want to worship every inch of you,” he rasped, teeth catching my earlobe. “To taste you until you’re begging me for mercy.” His hand slid up, cupping my breast, thumb circling the taut peak until I arched into him helplessly. “Tell me what you need.”

“Please, Toren,” I whimpered, my voice ragged. “I need you so badly it hurts.”

His answering growl rumbled through my chest as his lips claimed mine again. My hips moved on instinct, grinding down against the hard length straining beneath his pants. “I want to feel you,” I gasped, biting his lower lip. “Every inch of you. Fill me—make me yours completely.”

His breath caught, his control fraying. He bit my lip harder, enough to sting. “Starlight… you already are mine.”

I buried my face in the crook of his neck, inhaling his intoxicating scent—smoke and pine, wild and dangerous. I kissed along his jaw, desperate, whispering between kisses. “Touch me. Taste me. Ruin me for anyone else. I’m yours. All yours. Forever and always.”

My trembling hand slid down between us, palming him through his pants. The sheer size of him made my breath stutter. He was thick, hard, pulsing for me. I squeezed, and his growl nearly shook the walls.

“Please,” I begged, nails digging into his skin as I rocked against him. “I can’t wait anymore. I need you inside me, claiming me, making me yours.”

His hips ground against mine in answer, rough, insistent. His voice was a feral growl against my lips. “Do you have any idea what you’re doing to me?”

“Yes,” I breathed, kissing him again, tongue tangling with his. “And I don’t want you to stop.”

His growl deepened, vibrating through my bones, and then his hands gripped my thighs tighter. In one swift motion, he tossed me onto the bed. The mattress caught me with a bounce, my hair spilling wild across the pillows, my chest rising and falling as if I’d run miles.

Toren stood at the foot of the bed, eyes burning, chest heaving. His shirt hung in tatters, muscles carved and glistening with sweat. He shoved the ruined fabric off his shoulders, then yanked his pants open, the sight of his hard length making my mouth go dry.

His wolf glowed in his eyes, feral, unstoppable.

“I should be gentle with you,” he rasped, his voice low, raw with need. “I should take my time, show you how I worship every part of you…” His gaze locked on mine, scorching, unblinking. “But I can’t. Not now.”

The mattress dipped as he crawled up onto the bed, the weight of him moving over me like a storm rolling in. His hand cupped my cheek, surprisingly tender even as his body trembled with restraint.

“I’m sorry, Starlight,” he whispered, his forehead pressing to mine. His breath was hot, uneven. “But I’ve lost control. I can’t go slow tonight.”

My heart hammered. My body ached for him, every nerve ending sparking like fire. “Then don’t,” I breathed, arching up to meet him. “I don’t want slow.”

A guttural groan tore from his throat. He kissed me hard, devouring, as his hands roamed down, gripping, squeezing, claiming. The robe was gone, forgotten, and the heat of his skin against mine was all that mattered.

He broke the kiss only long enough to growl against my lips, “Once I claim you—once you’re mine—then I’ll take my time. Then I’ll worship you like you deserve.” His hips pressed into mine, hard and urgent. “But right now… I need you.”

He braced himself over me, one hand fisted in the sheets beside my head, the other gripping my thigh as he nudged himself against my entrance. His jaw clenched, sweat dripping down his temple, every muscle straining with the effort to be careful.

“I’ll try,” he growled, his voice shaking. “Moon help me, I’ll try to be gentle—”

But the second he pushed into me, the fragile thread of his control snapped. With a guttural roar, his hips slammed forward, burying himself deep inside me in one hard, desperate thrust.

A cry ripped from my throat as my body stretched around him, a hot burning sensation tearing through me from the inside out. My nails dug into his back, half from the shock of the intrusion, half from the wildfire racing through my veins.

And then—pain. Sharp and searing. It bloomed at my neck, right where his mouth had lingered earlier, where his tongue and teeth had teased the skin. The heat spread, snaking down my spine, slow but unrelenting, until it coiled low at the base of my back.

I didn’t understand it. Didn’t know what it meant.

But none of it mattered. Not now. Not when Toren was here, above me, inside me.
