Sienna pointed the camera at a dinner table surrounded by a group of laughing trust-fund kids.
No one noticed she was on a video call.
Sitting right next to her was Caleb Sterling.
Suddenly, someone asked Caleb, "Hey, man, what about that girl you dated for three years? How come you never brought her out? Jack said he saw her once, said the chick was smoking hot. I wanna see..."
Someone slapped his shoulder.
"Shut up, Cody. Can't you see Sienna is sitting right here? She's the main character! As for the other one? Just some desperate girl Caleb was playing with."
The group erupted in laughter.
I heard Sienna’s shy voice.
"I just didn't realize my own feelings before. Now, Caleb and I will cherish each other properly."
Congratulations filled the room until the guy named Cody spoke again.
"Damn, I'm still curious. How hot is she exactly? Caleb, introduce me? I mean, you don't mind if I play with her a bit, do you?"
A scoff echoed out.
"Bro, why do you have to pick up my leftovers? Can't you find someone else?"
I clenched my fists, wishing I could reach through the screen and punch him.

The man I loved for three years was such a piece of trash!
I didn't expect my wish to punch Caleb to come true so quickly.
Suddenly, the door to their private room opened.
A man stood there. I couldn't see his face clearly, but he gave off a strange sense of familiarity and safety.
Everyone started shouting "Roman."
Was it Roman?
Caleb saw him and waved naturally.
"Roman, sit over here—"
The man walked straight up to Caleb, but he didn't sit where Caleb pointed.
Instead, he raised his hand and slammed a fist into Caleb's face.
It was a full-force punch.
I could see the muscles in Caleb’s face ripple, blood instantly bursting from the corner of his mouth.
Caleb fell out of his chair. Sienna screamed.
The man grabbed Caleb by the collar.
"Is this how your mother taught you to talk about women?"
That voice made my heart skip a beat.
I was sure now. It was Roman.
