Apocalypse Space:Second Chance Chapter 6
So Jenna and I skipped class together to raid a supermarket off campus.
We couldn't quite bring ourselves to do it—maybe because the apocalypse hadn't fully hit yet... moral constraints.
But actually, I'd vastly overestimated this 99% compatibility crystal bracelet.
After all that effort, I discovered the space level was too low—only one square meter.
I was speechless.
"Rain, can you fit more?" Jenna panted, holding a large bag of snacks, looking at me hopefully.
I glanced at the space.
Ten large water jugs, cookies, bread, various snacks, and some daily necessities—packed completely full.
There wasn't room for even a fly, let alone a large bag of snacks.
I shook my head helplessly.
After that, we could only carry the remaining food back to campus.
Everything at school was normal—people playing, attending classes as usual.
By now, the blood-red light had spread across most of the sky.
At most half an hour until the zombie virus broke out.
"Hey, Rain, where have you two been?" Quinn stopped us.
She was carrying a bag, probably heading to class.
"Where we went is none of your business." Jenna pushed me behind her and stepped forward.
Quinn's expression soured.
"Jenna Park, I don't think I've offended you. What gives you the right to talk to me like that?"
"What gives me the right? The fact that you knew he had a girlfriend, and you still threw yourself at him." Jenna raised her hand, almost slapping her.
Seeing them about to fight, I quickly grabbed Jenna's hand and shook my head.
"Jenna, time's running out. We shouldn't waste it on someone like her."
We ignored Quinn and headed quickly toward the dorm building.
"Hey, Rain, is there some kind of misunderstanding between us? Also... there's still a calculus class this afternoon. Aren't you going the wrong way?"
Quinn's voice called from behind. We paid no attention.
Class?
The apocalypse was here—who the hell cared about class!
