"These are Frank Wilson's medical records."

Dr. Wu organized the records and handed them to Detective Russo.

They only recorded Frank Wilson's regular purchases of medicine, injections, and IV treatments. No record of sleeping pill prescriptions.

"Did Frank Wilson ever buy sleeping pills at the hospital?"

Detective Russo asked gravely.

Dr. Wu shook his head.

"Sleeping pills are common medication, but this is a rural area. Not many people use sleeping pills, if any. The clinic keeps very few in stock."

Detective Russo seized on the key point.

"Take me to where you store the sleeping pills."

Dr. Wu cooperated, leading several officers to the clinic's storage room.

"Huh? Where are the sleeping pills?"

Instantly, sweat broke out on his forehead.

"Purchase order."

Detective Russo only said those two words, making Dr. Wu sweat even more.

He hoped... hoped it wasn't what he thought.

When Detective Russo came to the door, he'd explained the severity of this case right away.

"This way..."

Following Dr. Wu to the office, looking at the retrieved records and inventory numbers, Detective Russo had the evidence tech verify the numbers.

"Detective, it's definitely the same batch."

Dr. Wu was now shaking like a leaf. He could already imagine his fate.

"Dr. James Wu, I'll be reporting this to the Health Department and the police. As for you, you'll need to come with us to assist with the investigation."

The theft of sleeping pills leading to a murder case made Dr. Wu a suspect too.
