Four years no see. Chloe shed her green disguise from back then. Her edges showed, becoming more mercenary and mean.

I didn't expect to see her, but thinking Liam was here, it wasn't hard to understand.

I nodded slightly, coldly saying, "What's worth seducing? An ex-fiancé I dumped?"

Behind me, Liam's eyes darkened instantly, as if his tail was stepped on.

Chloe screamed, "If you didn't play hard to get with Liam back then, how could he be obsessed with you? How could he stop liking me? Go far away! Appearing in front of him now, if not to seduce him, then what? You half-breed bastard!"

I looked calmly at her hysteria. She seemed to blame everything on me.

But Chloe didn't know, or refused to admit it.

"I said who asked you to meddle?" Liam raised his eyelids to look at her, eyes full of disgust. "Do you think the Blackwood family can't catch him? Or that that stray dog really threatens me?"

If not to create a chance to meet Harper, Jason the dog would have died many times over.

"Making yourself look like this to gain my sympathy?"

"Chloe, who do you think you are?"

He said coldly, "When I liked you, I could pluck the stars for you. But I don't like you anymore. In my eyes, you are nothing. If you have any self-awareness and don't want trouble, get out immediately. Disappear from my sight forever."
