Day 33 of the apocalypse—the government still hadn't found effective treatment for the zombie virus.

Zombies multiplied. The government could only take violent measures, bombing certain areas.

People could use one crystal core to exchange for fresh fruits, vegetables, and other supplies.

We no longer needed to personally kill zombies—crystal cores came to us in steady streams.

Of course, we encountered many people with ill intentions, forcing us to frequently relocate our market.

People who genuinely needed supplies couldn't stand it anymore and volunteered to help us manage things.

The trading post thrived. Months later, the space reached maximum level.

Unexpectedly, the max-level reward was a box of zombie virus cure.

I immediately turned the medicine over to the military.

A year later, people were finally liberated.

The government began strictly controlling and managing medications.

Some said the real cause of the zombie outbreak was an unscrupulous boss who'd sold expired medicine as new products to make money.

Who knew the expired medicine would produce strange effects in human bodies, causing people to mutate into zombies?

I didn't think it was that simple.
