The Lycan Kings and the White Wolf. Chapter 10

Coban's POV

"The mark of the Rogue King. He's trying again." My brother says as we head to the castle to clean up before we go to the dungeon.

"No, he's just trying to weaken us. He had no intentions other than to show he's still there. He's taunting us because he can." I say back to him.

As I head inside, I go up to my quarters and clean up. Once my brother and I are finished, we head to the dungeons. We need answers. We need to know something.

When we enter the dungeon doors, we go down a flight of steps. We go through a narrow hall, this is where we keep prisoners who are only in for a short period. We get to the end of the hall, and we turn towards the security room. That's where our guards are placed, as that is how we watch our prisoners. Multiple guards are stationed inside the security room, watching the screens at all times.

When we enter the room, we walk over to the screens showing the three fools we just captured. See, that's why we pulled guards from the halls, and we watch from the security room. The prisoners are more likely to talk if they think they're not being watched.

"Have they said anything yet?" I say to Mark while watching the screen.

"They're putting on a show, my king. Would you like me to pop you some popcorn?" Trevor, one of my most elite warriors, says to me. I look over at him and smirk.

"A show, are they stripping on the pole?" Caden laughs as he walks up beside us.

"My king, Curley, was telling Larry and Moe to keep their mouths shut and not to mention Benjamin. He went on to say that if they mention Mr. Bennie, it could ruin the next phase of the plan." Trevor says, covering his mouth and acting surprised.

As I was going over the name Benjamin in my head, "Benjamin, the rogue King Benjamin." Conan says in my head. "I guess we were right then. The tattoo. That was the rogue king who planned this attack." I say to my lycan.

"Two weeks away from the tournament. Where alphas from every pack will be here. This attack will be the first of many, with the final one during the tournament," my lycan states with confidence. "You're right, buddy," I say back to him.

"Benjamin, as in the rogue king Benjamin," I state not necessarily to anyone.

"The one and only brother," Caden responds. "Conan made a good point. Did they mention the tournament? " I ask.

"Who are the three stooges?" Dante says with a smile.

Right before anyone could answer or reply, our attention goes to the screen.

"So what do we do now?" Larry says to Moe.

"Whatever you do, do not mention the tournament," Curley says to the other two. "Benjamin already has a few warriors placed in their ranks. They will be letting any of us who were captured go. Just don't say anything in the meantime. Got it." Curley says.

"Once they let us out, we will continue with the plan." He says to them.

"We need to contact Alpha," Larry says to Curley. "I'm sure he will be contacted. They knew of the attack today and knew not to intervene. So I'm sure he was already contacted." Curley continues to say.

"Was it just us three. How many of us did they get?" Larry asks.

"Not sure. I hope whoever else they got doesn't talk. They can't know of the alliance and the attack King Benjamin is leading. If they find this out, we're finished." Curley says.

"How long do you think it will be before Reggie and Harry get to us?" Moe asks.

"Shouldn't be long. They knew what was going down. They knew this could happen. They will come." Curley replies.

"Looks like you were dead on, buddy," I say to my lycan.

"The tournament is two weeks away. This was only a distraction for the upcoming main event," my lycan says.

"Alpha. There are more players in this game than the rogue king." I say to Conan. "It seems so," he replies.

"Mark, go through our warriors. Some we can rule out. Do we have anyone with the names Harry and Reggie?" I say to him.

"My king let me check. The name sounds familiar, but with so many warriors, I'd have to check." He says.

"I want these traitors found before the tournament," I say to my gamma.

"Kevan, I want double security on the dungeon. No one leaves, and no one enters. Clear." I say to him.

"Yes, my king," he replies.

As I instructed Trevor and Kevan to interrogate the three who were just brought in, I headed back to my office. There was no need for my brother and me to be there. I'm sure we won't get any more info out of those three. Those fools have gone and spilled everything. Damn, what a long day.
