Coban's POV

I can't believe it. Our mate. We finally found her. My brother and I have waited for almost 7 years. Trixie, could she actually be our mate. It has to be her. Wait. She's not 18. I guess that really is not a big issue as she will be turning 18 in less than two weeks.

There's one thing for certain. If she is our mate. We have to protect her. We have to keep her safe. Damn I want to see her. To confirm she's the one. To confirm she's our mate. To look at her. To hold her. To let her know we will protect her. To comfort her. But first thing first. I have to find out what we're dealing with.

"My king" my beta says walking into my office shaking me out of my thought. "Yes beta" I reply. "Gamma Calvin is here as you requested." he says.

"Send him in and Kevan have you seen Caden?" I ask. "I think he was headed to the second floor." he smirks.

Damn Caden. Can't you wait. He just can't barge in on her. He is going to scare her.

"King Coban" the gamma says.

"Thanks for joining me. Please, have a seat." I say as he sits across from me.

"Gamma Calvin" I say. "To start off, what is Trixie's favorite foods."

Damn I guess I caught him off guard. I guess I could of been more subtle. Could of eased him into it. "I think you put gamma in shock." Conan laughs. I really think I did.

"Oh, Uh" he stutters.

"Gamma Calvin" I jump in "Trixie has missed dinner and doesn't want to go back to the banquet. I was wondering what she likes so I can have my personal guards take her dinner." I explain with a smile.

"Oh yes, sorry my king. I'm sure she would be happy with anything." he started to say.

"Her favorites gamma." I smile. "Steak, medium well, loaded baked potato, lasagna and pineapple pizza. She also loves fudge brownie sundaes which hot fudge, whipped topping and a cherry." he says proudly.

"Darien, have you delivered Trixie her dinner yet." I mindlink him.

"Sir I'm doing that now." he replies.

I mindlink him back telling him exactly what I want delivered to her.

After getting that taken care of now back to business. Time to find out what's going on. I know she's in trouble.

"Gamma Calvin, I'm just going to cut through the chase. This isn't no candy shop so I won't be sugar coating anything." I begin. "Whats going on in the White Claw Pack." I lay it out there. Straight to the point.

Gamma Calvin sits still for a min. Probably gathering his thoughts. I guess I could of started more subtle but face it, I need to know what's going on.

"My king" he starts. "I'm really not sure what king of information you are asking for." he says, the look of confusion is clear on his face.

"Trixie White Claw" I reply as I look him in the eyes.

"I see my king. Before I answer may I please ask if Trixie is alright?" He asks as he looks very concerned.

"Gamma Calvin, Trixie is in her suite as we speak. I have two of my personal guards on her and her dinner is being prepared and will be taken to her." I say.

"Thank you. I'm sorry but Trixie is like a daughter to me. I have to look out for her." He says.

"I understand gamma" I say with a smile.

He then starts to talk. He mentions her parents. When they died. This information we already knew. He goes on telling me how her uncle and his family has abused her. How's he's still after her inheritance and how he signed her up for the tournament without them even knowing and that how the fight is a literal death match.

Im pissed. Conan is cursing and stomping. He's pissed as well. I'm trying everything to stay calm.

Halfway through our conversation I stop him. "Gamma Calvin. Before we continue and go any further do you mind if Caden joins us." I ask.

"Caden, I have Gamma Calvin in the office. You need to hear this." I say through our link.

Only a few minutes later he shows up.

Gamma Calvin continues. When he is finished I look over at my brother. The same look on his face that is on mine. Damn. He's shocked as well.

"Coban, before I came here I went up to the second floor. I had to see for myself. To confirm it. Damn brother, Trixie, she's our Mate." Caden says through our link as he is staring right at me.

Did I just hear him right. Is Trixie really our mate. Could it be true. That would explain everything though.
