After understanding the general situation from my editor, I contacted friends to handle the trending topic while taking a cab home.

This wasn't my first time trending because of a criminal case.

Two years ago, I was hotly debated by online users over a murder case.

Because the killer's method closely resembled one I'd written in my book, many people suspected I'd put my fictional crime method into practice before the killer was caught.

Because of that incident, not only was I denounced by internet users, but Clara also severely warned me never to write mystery thrillers again.

After that, I listened to Clara and changed my writing direction.

I thought this incident would blow over quickly like last time, especially since the police had already caught the person who stabbed Mason.

But when I saw police waiting at my door again, an ominous premonition suddenly rose in my heart.

"Regarding Mason Young's stabbing, we have some things we'd like to clarify with you, so please cooperate with our work and come with us." The officer showed his badge after speaking.

Just like that, the police brought me to the station.

During questioning, I discovered the police seemed to think I was connected to Mason's stabbing.

"Do you know Ryan Wade?" the officer asked me with a serious expression.

I paused after hearing this, then nodded in response: "Yes, he was my father's driver."

"Ryan Wade says he stabbed Mason Young at your instruction. How do you explain that?"

"That's absurd. I have no personal relationship with him, much less would I instruct him to commit a crime."

Then the police showed me a bank statement.

Seeing the account holder's name was mine, I was completely stunned.
