**CHAPTER 4 - THE ONE WITH THE BROKEN PHONE 1.1**

The shock on everyone's faces was obvious. Even the servers and maids behind them had a look of shock on their faces. Then they all looked at me as if I was going to be sentenced to death later and this was my last breakfast. Wait, is that what I did?!

"S-Sky, y-you did that?" Dahlia asked stuttering.

I remembered Tanya. She said Dahlia would scold her if she found out that I was still wandering around the mansion in the early hours of the morning. Now, even when I was yelling at their boss, she already knew. I just wanted to crouch down here and slide under the table because of their stares. But of course, I didn't do that.

This time I won't look away. I didn't have any bad intentions in what I did and I wasn't doing anything wrong. I also don't know why I can't look straight at him and I seem nervous. I adjusted my seat and turned my gaze to Thera. Does he want a staring contest between the two of us? It's a game.

"I thought maybe no one brought her dinner. That's why I did that." I said while looking at Thera.

I waited for her to look away but she didn't. I felt like her gaze was piercing my soul. Not only Thera, but even Dahlia, AM, and PM were looking at me.

"I thought Priam and Anthea asked you to do it." after she said that, all their heads turned to her direction.

"No! Sister, I didn't order Sister Sky. Maybe PM." AM stammered, explaining as if afraid of being scolded.

"Wh-what?! No, not me! I didn't ask her to do that." PM defended himself. After that, the twins looked at Dahlia together. Dahlia was surprised.

"Neither do I! I'm not ordering anything like that."

Traitors! I thought the three of them were on my side. Are they really that scared of this woman? And seriously, how big of a deal is what I did? Is it because the room with the red door is a prohibited area? I didn't go there to cause trouble.

"It's okay. I just thought you guys were the ones who asked her to do that. That's also the reason why I decided to join you for breakfast. The gesture Ms. Parker did earlier made me realize that I haven't been spending more time with both of you."

She didn't seem angry. The twins looked in my direction at the same time and smiled at me as if to say thank you and because of what I did, their sister joined them for breakfast. Dahlia also seemed to be relieved and didn't scold us for bringing food to her young lady's room without permission.

"No it's not. And forget about it. Continue eating." He interrupted what AM was about to say. The boy just pouted and went back to eating. So I did the same. I turned my attention back to my mushroom soup.

After a few minutes of silence and while I was busy catching the small mushroom in the bowl, Thera suddenly spoke again. I stopped what I was doing but I didn't raise my head to look at her. I kept looking at the bowl.

"Just next time, don't leave the food in front of my doorstep. I almost tripped on it when I opened the door. There's a table near the door where you can leave things." She stated emphatically.

I can feel my cheeks burning in embarrassment. Oh, by the way, I left the tray right in front of the door. I was so stupid, I forgot that there was a table near his door. I even put the tray down there when I knocked. When he said to leave it there, my hand automatically put the tray down in front of the door. I mentally slapped my forehead because of that.

"And also, only knock twice." she continued.

My eyes widened at what she said. I imagined how I looked last night, looking like an idiot after repeatedly knocking on his door.

"You knocked as if you wanted to beat the door down. What if I'm on a call with an important business partner?" it added that there is still a follow up question.

Am I required to speak or should I just let her? She didn't sound angry. Her tone was like she was just speaking plainly. I just opened my eyes and continued stirring my soup, trying to catch that tiny mushroom. I felt like a child crouching down quietly listening to her mother's sermon.

I'll tell you why I made sure she wasn't doing anything important before I knocked. No way. Later she'll ask me how I made sure and then I'll admit to listening to her door. I'll even mention the thing about her watching Friends, which she'll even clap along to.

I bit my lower lip trying to suppress a laugh. Now that I've seen her face, I can imagine her watching and clapping to Friends opening song while wearing her poker face. Hahaha! Do people here know that the person they're afraid of is watching a sitcom in the morning? My nervousness eased a bit because of what I imagined.

"Like last night when you knocked, I was in a meeting---"

Luhhhhh? Invented. Meeting with Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, ah as long as they are the only members of Friends I remember!

"Oh are you sure?" Those words came out of my mouth so spontaneously that even I was surprised by what I said.

Suddenly, her beautiful eyes closed and she leaned back in her chair. She was clearly angry. She was so beautiful when she was angry. Shut up, brain.

I'm waiting for her to say something, we all are. But when she opened her eyes, she just picked up her spoon again and started eating again.

"Continue eating." That was all he said and the twins and Dahlia quickly went back to eating. This breakfast is heavy on my chest. This is the hardest breakfast I've ever had to breathe in my 27 years on earth. I'll just keep quiet and eat this. I'm really fed up with this woman. She's about to throw the knife she uses to eat straight at my forehead.

I want to leave this table!!

I hurriedly finished my food. I ate the remaining food on my plate one after another. Maybe I could stand up first when I was done. No more chewing.

I can't breathe! I'm choking!!

I want to throw up! I stood up from my chair, trying to vomit what was in my throat. I also put my finger in my mouth. Because of what I did, the three panicked even more and came closer to me.

"Sister!!" I heard AM shout as he held me tightly by the shoulder, shaking me.

"Sister, you're choking!" PM worried, not knowing what to do.

Because of what PM said, Dahlia suddenly hit me hard on the back. It was like she punched me. The force of her hit was so strong, I felt like I was going to fall out and then my vision went black.

"Breathe!" Dahlia ordered, continuing to slap my back. Stop this! She's going to kill me.

The maids on the side and the servers also came over. They had their own ways of helping me.

Seriously. I think I'm going to die!

Even though I was dying, I still heard the sound of a moving chair. It felt like someone was standing on the chair.

"Move." I heard a calm but authoritative voice. Who else would benefit from that, let alone someone who is full of stupid things like me?

A sudden bolt of shiver kicked through my spine when I felt a slender arm wrap around my waist. I can also feel her bending me over and lifting me up. Then she started giving me abdominal thrusts. She's doing the Heimlich Maneuver.

After a few thrusts, I felt the meat coming out of my mouth. Then finally, I was able to breathe properly. He quickly let go of me when he saw that I was okay. I can feel my heart beating rapidly, which I know is normal when you are taking your life. There is no other reason why my chest is heaving. I inhaled and exhaled, regaining my lost breath and then held on to the chair.

"Sister Sky, are you okay?"

They asked one question after another. I just shook my head in response and remained holding onto the back of the chair. I will never eat beef again.

While I was bending over I saw a hand reach out for a glass of water in front of me. I raised my head to see the person...it's the person that saved my life. Still on her poker face mode. I took the water that she was reaching out for and drank it.

"Thank you." were the first words out of my mouth after the life-threatening incident.

I saw her roll her eyes.

"Seriously, Parker. Don't you know how to eat?" she asked seriously as she adjusted the strap of her bathrobe and lifted the loose part on her shoulder.

I saw a glimpse of the strap of the black bra that she's wearing inside, then I remembered what she did to save me. I felt my cheeks heat up again. I was about to apologize, but then I suddenly walked out and left the dining room.

Damn it, Sky! You just ruined her breakfast. You're a fool in the eyes of your boss.
