**CHAPTER 5 - THE ONE WITH THE POOL SCENE 1.3**

"I'll take note of that." was all I could answer.

"Don't just take note. Make sure to do it. I expect you to look more formal tomorrow." she said and I nodded my head in response.

"Leave." he ordered.

Finally, I can eat!

I nodded my head slowly as a farewell to him. I had only taken two steps when I suddenly heard a loud scream.

Things happened so fast. I heard her screaming in fear, then I saw a bird fly above her head. I didn't have time to check what was happening when she suddenly ran quickly while closing her eyes in my direction. There was too much force when she bumped into me. And because of that, I lost my balance. I'm just a few steps away from the pool.

Due to losing my balance, I grabbed her clothes so I pulled her and we fell into the very cold swimming pool together.

Fuck!

I tried to get up from the fall but my feet couldn't reach the floor of the pool. It was so deep! I CAN'T SWIM!

I felt her hand on my head to help me pull myself up. That made me sink even more. Then I saw her swimming away from me.

Bitch! When you left?! The person here is dead! I'm having trouble breathing.

She had already reached the edge of the pool and was holding onto the steel handle bar and was about to climb up, but then she turned her head towards my direction.

"What are you doing?" the witch asked calmly. Gaga! Don't ask anymore, help me here!

"Help!" I shouted at the top of my lungs and that's the only time she realized that I'm drowning.

"Seriously? You don't know how to swim?" and he even managed to ask without coming closer.

"Help!" I screamed again. Read the room! I'm dying!

I saw her swim in my direction. When she was finally within my reach, I immediately wrapped my arms around her neck. To make sure I couldn't let go, I also wrapped my legs around her waist. I was still a little panicked, so even though I was holding on and gasping for breath, I still couldn't stop moving. I felt like I wanted to help myself float in the water.

"Hey! Parker! Calm down!" he shouted even though we were so close to each other. I ignored him and continued to panic. I didn't want to die in the water!

"Parker! Hey! Stop moving!" She shouted again but nothing, my body was panicking on its own.

"PARKER! STOP!" he sternly reprimanded, which immediately made me stop. I looked at her face, our faces were only about an inch away from each other. Then my legs wrapped around her waist.

Despite the cold water, I can feel her softness against my skin. Her chest is pushed against mine. The realization of our current position hit me like lightning. My heart started beating so fast that I started to feel my blood burning in my veins and I could hardly breathe.

Fuck! Why does her beauty seem to increase 200 percent when you look at her closer?!

"W-what?" She stuttered when she noticed that I'm staring at her face.

I quickly looked away. Why is her face red? Is she blushing or is it because the water is cold? What's happening to me?

"Shh. Stupid."

I quickly looked at her when she called me stupid again. I glared at her, now she's glaring back at me. What a fool! She had just called me various synonyms for stupid. Then I suddenly remembered that she didn't save me right away earlier and left me drowning here, even though it was so obvious that I was drowning.

I want to get back at him. I've done so many wrongs. Even my phone!

I tightened my grip on her waist, then I started moving again as if panicking like before. I'm pissing her off which immediately took effect because I received another sharp death glare from her. That's not effective for me anymore! Your face!

"Stop that, Parker!" she scolded, but I didn't stop. I gave her a mischievous smile that made her even more annoyed.

Hahaha, you look so stupid! You're literally blushing.

"Parker! The hell are you doing?! Stop!"

But I didn't. Until…

I quickly stopped what I was doing teasing and then I looked away. I can feel my cheeks burning.

I felt her move as she held me. She's now pulling me, holding my waist until we reached the edge of the pool. She let me climb out first. When I got out, I reached out my hand to help her, but she just slapped it away.

When we reached the front door of my room, I just caught up with her. I stopped her by holding her wrist.

"What do you want, PARKER?!" he glared at me.

But girl to girl, I wouldn't let her go down there looking like that. Her soul has almost come out of her wet clothes. If she was wearing normal clothes, the employees would almost drool when they stared at her. What if she looked like that?

"Just a moment. Just stay there. Wait for me."

I quickly ran into the room and grabbed my pink towel. When I came out, he had his arms crossed again while tapping his little feet on the floor. Luckily, he didn't leave.

"What now?" she asked. Her voice is trembling. You can also notice her body shaking. She's cold.

He obviously didn't expect what I did next because he stopped moving and his eyes widened. I just wrapped him in a towel. Luckily the towel was big so he was now like a cocoon wrapped tightly.

"Like what you said, there are men walking around this mansion. You shouldn't be wearing something that's showing too much of your fair white skin." I said while imitating his tone from earlier including the British accent.

"Are you mocking me?"

"No. I'm not."

She just stared at me. Now, she's wearing a poker face again.

"Thank you..."

That's me. I thanked him. Where else would she thank me?

"Tss. I only did that because I didn't want someone's corpse floating in my beautiful swimming pool. Your corpse will ruin the view of my exquisite rooftop."

I frowned at what he said. Is this crazy? I've already made him a corpse in my mind. Well, I didn't thank you for that.

She heaved a deep sigh then turned her back on me. After that, she started walking away.

Before he completely walked away, I thanked him again for stopping him.

"Thank you! For the new phone and for saving my files."

Even though he was at fault for what happened.

I know it wasn't Dahlia or even the twins who did that. After all, Tanya owed me fifty yesterday because she lost a bet.

"And thank you for letting ate Ana stay." I added.

She turned her head and looked at me. She didn't say anything, she just put on a poker face and then she walked away again. She got on the elevator and disappeared from my sight.

I just shook my head at what happened and went into my room. Then I realized something…
