Mistake With The Alpha Chapter 27

Samantha's POV

　　I was walking to my room happily. Well happy is an understatement. I was walking to my room with full and excess joy. I didn't even care if I was walking on water or fire. I was too blinded by what just happened to see anything. All I saw was the Alpha and his kisses. I would have never thought that an Alpha would even think of liking me without the mating bond.

　　The Alpha wouldn't let me go. I am now going to my room because he said he couldn't resist not touching me if I spent the night with him. He was so clingy that even when his Beta came to tell him that he was needed, he didn't even let him land before he dismissed him. The Beta even asked if he could go home and he said yes without hesitation. The Beta was so happy that he mouthed me a thank you as if I'm the one who gave him a free day.

　　Like seriously, today is a good day for me. I've never experienced such happy moments. I couldn't stop talking. I told the alpha almost everything about me today and he was a good listener, listened to all.

　　I entered my room. I never expected to meet anyone there since it's still an hour to our closing. I was glad that no one was inside. It made me display my joy as I wanted. I already had dinner with the alpha in his room which was brought by Sally and another set of maids. Sally herself didn't expect me to be there till that time. She looked at me and I gave her a not my fault look and she nodded showing her understanding. The maids too were secretly looking at me as if they were going to kill me. I know a lot of words about the Alpha and I would have flown through the pack but since the alpha doesn't care, I don't care either.

　　I jumped on my bed and started jumping happily. This is the best thing that ever happened to me. I was even screaming at the top of my voice. Well I wouldn't do that if I wasn't sure that there's no one around.

　　Just in few days, I was sad and happy. I lost a complaining boyfriend and a few days later I got another, a sweet one and a powerful one at that. John might have thought me useless, so he can do me the way he wants but he just released me to my happy life. If not for that silly video he coaxed me into doing which I mistakenly sent to the Alpha and was summoned by him, I wouldn't have met the Alpha talk more of him liking me. All thanks to the betrayal of John. It was a blessing in disguise.

　　"Too good to be true right?" Crystal asked me.

　　" Yes it is," I said, covering my face with my palms.

　　But then something dropped in my heart and scattered all my happiness. I sat down on my bed looking moody.

　　"What if he finds his mate? What am I to do by then?" I asked with a sad countenance.

　　This thing is too good to lose. I really don't want to lose him even if it's just in a few days we've met. Because no one has treated me with such love aside from my parents. Not even my so-called ex-boyfriend. I wasn't thinking about this before now and now that it did, it really saddens my heart.

　　"Here comes the pessimist," Crystal said, rolling her eyes.

　　" It's not about me being pessimistic. You know I'm telling the truth. He still has a mate to meet" I said not liking the way she's nonchalant about this.

　　"So do you?" She reminded me.

　　"I know but what if his mate suddenly shows up? I'll be a laughing stock" I was almost crying now.

　　" What if you find yours first?" Crystal tacked again.

　　I frowned at how she's behaving.

　　"Aren't you supposed to be thinking my way? Remember we are both in this together" I scolded her.

　　" I know but your way is too negative. I don't like it" she frowned back.

　　" But I'm only trying to save us from another heartbreak here. We are at the receiving end" I retorted.

　　" We didn't die from the first one. Just let's enjoy the moment. We sure deserve to be happy" she said blankly.

　　" Even though it might not last?" I asked her.

　　" Just let it go. You know it is possible that there's no mate anywhere for us. So let's just enjoy the big bad Alpha's body before the owner comes" she said dreamingly.

　　" Don't you dare to do that" I warned.

　　She was getting into my poor mind and filling them with her lustful desires.

　　"You can't tell me what to do. It's a free world" she joked.

　　" It is my mind girl" I snapped smiling.

　　" And my too" she replied back.

　　I sighed and laid on my bed to let my happiness return. I've decided to wait for what is coming and not rush into the conclusion. The Alpha might not be mine forever, but he'll at least be mine for now.

　　"Sam, I know you might get hurt at the end of all these but the peace and happiness is worth it" I said to myself with a huge smile on my face as I dreamt.

　　Unknown POV

　　All through yesterday, I was roaming about in my house. I couldn't even catch any sleep. I think we are too slow in the process of things. I need to work things out so fast. Jaylen is getting stronger and stronger day by day. With the way he spoke yesterday, it seems he is getting happy. The witch's spell is going to be weak soon. The truth is, I'm the one who made it so difficult for Jaylen not to find his mate. His mate should have been found since he is twenty five but I made sure he did not find her. If he finds his mate my plan would be destroyed and I wouldn't be able to get what is my right from the pack.

　　I have worked so hard on this pack but they didn't pay me with anything. All they do is get all the wealth and bring it to themselves, when all they give to me is stipends. Everything Jaylen is enjoying now is all what I worked for. His father might have said he was the one who did but I was the one who did the most harmful job. I want what is mine but they wouldn't give me, so I would take it at all cost.

　　I would have confronted Jaylen but Jaylen is a rare breed and I can't contend with him. If he can't defeat me with a werewolf strength, I'm sure going to go down with his vampire strength. That night I took my cloak and went to Diana's cave.

　　"Diana!" I called out.

　　Diana is a witch who was casted out and I gave her abode and now she works for me. She's also afraid of the hybrid Alpha that's why she's helping me in destroying him. Being so powerful, she casted a spell that covered the Alpha's mate bond which she said won't last forever.

　　What Diana and I are planning is that she would make me an Alpha while I'll give her freedom. I love that bargain because it is not too much. I know you would be wondering how I'll be an Alpha. She told me that all I'll need is the semen of the hybrid Alpha.

　　At first I thought it was a very simple task but up till now I haven't been able to get it. The lycan hybrid Alpha wouldn't release his semen to any shewolf. I wonder how that happened. The first she-wolf whom we found laid with the Alpha, was captured and Diana did her thing to extract the semen but to her shock, she was empty. No semen in her. We didn't really have our confirmation until we got to the fifth she wolf. It was then Diana said that the Alpha won't release his semen until it's his mate.

　　We know if that's his real mate, we won't be able to get on without a plan. The mating bond would be our doom. Now I'm back at Diana's place so we would know what to do.

　　"I'm almost done with what I'm preparing," Diana told me.

　　" Please be fast. Jaylen is getting stronger and stronger day by day" I said hurriedly.

　　I was so angry at our failure. I wanted a perfect job.

　　"Patience is a virtue," she said to me.
