Mistake With The Alpha Chapter 65

Cleo's POV

　　" It was Allison that told him," I said.

　　I needed to let Kira know that it was someone that told him. There was silence in the room for a while before Kira spoke.

　　"I can't say you are right neither am I saying you are wrong. But remember that the Alpha is a hybrid and to work against a hybrid will be so hard" she said.

　　" That's my thought exactly," I said, nodding.

　　" Kira, it's so confusing. Why then will Jaylen be in love and yet there is a mating bond" he said, still not wanting to admit that Sam didn't do anything.

　　" Even though Jaylen is one, there are two personalities in him. So some things can be possible" she said.

　　" No Kira, I'm still assured that that maid of a girl did something. Allison is the true mate. Why then is Jaylen affected when that maid gets sick when she's not the mate?" My husband argued.

　　He can be very stubborn and I know the reason is because he trusted Omar and his daughter so much. Omar is my Gamma and we've been so close until I stop being Luna. He didn't behave suspiciously but then I'm someone who thinks people change. I'm not thinking that Omar wants to do any harm nor am I doubting that Allison is Jaylen's mate but this complicated issue can't just let me know what to think.

　　"If you think she's fetish, then let's check it out," Kira said.

　　She then led us to a rock where she always shows to know what is wrong. She has never failed so we know that this will be the right thing. Kira said a few words and we saw Jaylen who was lying on the bed with a moon standing by his head.

　　"The moon will show if any dark thing has been used on him, the moon will brighten its light on it and we will see it but if not, his body will be clean" she said softly.

　　We watched the rock closely while Kira chanted her priestess words. Then the moon starts to move slowly. It moved from Jaylen's head to his feet and behold everything was clean. Not even a single darkness was there or anything that is not supposed to be.

　　Looking at my husband's face, I saw disappointment. I didn't know who he was disappointed in. Maybe in Allison who told him, or himself for believing or the fact that it was all a lie. I didn't know.

　　"You see, he's clean," I said to him.

　　"Let's check Sam if she's truly fetish as she's said to be '' Kira said and I saw hope in my husband's eyes.

　　I wondered why he was behaving like this. Since I know him, he doesn't judge people quickly. But with the way he is behaving with Sam, he's a different person to me.

　　"Yes, let's check," he said.

　　Kira then did her thing and Sam's battered body came into view. Even Kira looked shocked that she looked at us. My husband looked away so as not to see Kira's face. Then just as the moon rolled on Jaylen's body, it rolled on Sam's and nothing fetish was found in her. This also disappointed my husband and I was glad.

　　"You see, she's clean. Why not let's see your precious friend's daughter" I said with sarcasm.

　　" It doesn't matter. She's clean too" Kira said softly.

　　" But we should see," I said to her.

　　Kira shook her head. "There's no need. She's just only acting out of jealousy" she said and went to sit.

　　" But we need a solution to this whole confusing mating thing," my husband said.

　　" I would advise that you don't get involved. Jaylen is the only one that can really put a stop to all the misery. You will just keep on complicating things if you don't let him solve the riddle himself" she said.

　　My husband gave a distant look before he nodded at Kira.

　　"Now can we release those poor people you threw into the prison?" I asked him.

　　" Kira, why then is Jaylen unconscious?" He ignored me.

　　What I think now is that he's just looking for someone to take the blame for what is happening. But I won't let him robe innocent people into this.

　　"I don't have an explanation," Kira said.

　　" Ok thanks Kira" he said and stood up.

　　"Thanks Kira," I said with a smile.

　　I was really glad that Sam was washed clean. My husband doesn't have anything to hold against her. Now it's my turn to take steps to help my son. I would have loved to involve my husband because we've never done anything apart but then, Jaylen was very right. Gerard's friendship with Omar has clouded his mind that he's not thinking about anything except to make Allison Jaylen's wife.

　　"You mustn't let any of the women out of his sight else there will be more trouble than we can bear. You should make sure they are close by until all this is over" Kira said as we turned to leave.

　　My husband and I both nodded at her words and we left. During our drive home he didn't say anything. He just kept looking outside.

　　"Don't be troubled, we would have a solution to all these" I said putting my head on his shoulder.

　　"It's just that this is too much for Jaylen. I had thought that if he found his mate, things would be easier for him but now it's more complicated than him not even having a mate" he said sadly.

　　" None of us is expecting this but what can we do? We face it and look for a solution" I said with a stiff smile.
