Mistake With The Alpha Chapter 37

Allison's POV

　　"I'll go live in the pack house," I said.

　　My father didn't object. In fact he was happy with my plan. I packed a few things and left for the pack house. I had two goals. One is to make the mating bond stronger and the second is to deal with that female who is making my mate not want me.

　　I had made sure to spread the news that I'm the Alpha's mate and everyone is already calling me Luna. I love how that new name sounds.

　　"Luna" I heard two ladies greet and bow.

　　I had a strange feeling about one of them. I don't know why but she was pissing me off.

　　"Why is your dress this short?" I asked her.

　　She looked up at me and didn't say anything.

　　"I must not see you in this dress again. You are here to work not to sleep with males around here" I said authoritatively and walked away.

　　I know Jaylen will be happy that I'm supportive of him. I wanted to prove that I'm a very hardworking woman. I want to make sure I pleased my man. I was heading to Jaylen's office.

　　"Is the Alpha in?" I asked the guards at the door.

　　" Yes ma'am," one of the guards replied.

　　I wasn't happy with the way he addressed me as ma'am. I love the Luna name. I didn't say anything so that my mate wouldn't think that I'm power crazy. I opened the door. I saw Jaylen, seated by his chair. He looked like someone who didn't have a good sleep. He looked up at me and frowned.

　　"Why didn't you knock?" He said firmly.

　　"Apologies Alpha" I quickly said.

　　"What do you want?" He asked me.

　　This broke my heart. "I came to make a request," I said softly.

　　I wanted my mate to be happy to see me but him asking me such questions wasn't like he is.

　　"What?" He asked blankly.

　　"Em.... Em... There's a little renovation in my room so I want to plead that you accommodate me till my room is fixed" I said pitifully.

　　Jaylen looked at me. " Ok" he said blankly.

　　"Is that all he will say?" I asked myself.

　　I didn't leave but he had continued what he was doing. I couldn't help but watch him see the files. He's such a handsome and strong man. He wore a tight black shirt and it looked so good on him. I felt like touching him.

　　"Go away and stop looking at me. Just go meet Sally to help you with anything you need" he said to me.

　　I nodded at him and stood up. I could feel him looking at me as I left and this made me happy. I then stopped.

　　"Will I see you later today?" I asked.

　　"Why?" He asked blankly.

　　" Nothing. Just want to be close to you" I replied.

　　I was scared that he wouldn't answer me.

　　"Alright" he said.

　　This almost made me jump for joy. I smiled at him and went away. I then went to look for Sally.

　　When I got to the kitchen, I met a few maids there but I didn't see Sally.

　　"Where is Sally?" I asked them.

　　"Luna" they bowed.

　　" She's in her office," one of them replied.

　　" Go get her for me," I ordered.

　　One of them ran out and I sat at a table there waiting. I should have gone to her room but I'll be so belittled. She should be the one to come see me. Not too long, the maid that I told that her dress was too short came in. I eyed her and then I discovered that her colleagues were laughing silently at her. I wanted to know what they were laughing about. Then I called one of them.

　　"Yes Luna," she said.

　　I looked at her and smiled. "You know I'm a lady like you. Do you mind telling me what you ladies are saying?" I cajoled her.

　　She smiled shyly at me.

　　"Don't be shy. I know you are making fun of that fat girl" I teased her.

　　I didn't know for real, I was just guessing.

　　"Yes we are," she confessed.

　　"Is it because her dress is short?" I asked.

　　Looking at the dress, it wasn't short at all. It was a little above her knees. I just didn't feel good about that girl. I wanted to know who she was. She makes me feel really uneasy.

　　"No. She's the Alpha's ..... Em.... Em. She's the girl the Alpha is showing off before" she said to me.

　　So this was the girl I've been looking for. No wonder I wasn't feeling so good about her. She's the one who's trying to steal my man. I got so angry at her.

　　"Oh" I said blankly, smothering my anger.

　　" She was so proud of sleeping with the Alpha all the while and now, she's such useless baggage since you arrived. I don't even think the Alpha has spoken to her. She's such a shame" she said to me.

　　With the way they were doing I know they didn't like her a bit. This will make it easy for me to make her life a living hell. She would regret ever moving close to Jaylen. What others don't know is that Jaylen still likes her and he's not really giving me attention as they thought. I need to make Jaylen hate her so much so that I'll be the one to occupy his heart. I then want to start my plan. I then went to her and pushed her. The plate she held fell to the ground and I fell on the plate. It tore my hand and blood came out. The rest rushed at me.

　　"Are you planning to kill the Luna so you can take her place?" One of the maids shouted and I loved that.

　　"I didn't do a thing. She's the one that fell on it" the lady defended.

　　" Liar. You intentionally hit her with the plate" another shouted.

　　Then they begin to hurl hot words at her and she begins to cry. They taunt her with the affair she had with the Alpha.

　　"What the hell is going on here?" I heard Sally's firm voice.
