Mistake With The Alpha Chapter 41

Jaylen's POV

　　This is what Sam doesn't have. She wouldn't let me play when I had things to do. Even if she would allow me, she will make sure I've done 70% of what I needed to do. I scolded myself for comparing Sam and Allison again but I couldn't help it.

　　"You will later. Ain't you living here?" I said.

　　I then tickle her. I expected her to laugh like Sam but she frowned.

　　"Don't tickle me. I hate it" she said blankly.

　　" Why?" I asked, thinking she's joking.

　　"It's childish," she said.

　　"Oh" I said.

　　I miss Sam. She would have given me that sweet rhythmic laughter and it would have pacified my soul.

　　Later when Allison left. I couldn't stop thinking about what happened. Alvin came to sit in front of me. He has been waiting for me all the while to finish. I've known Alvin to be something. He wouldn't say a word until I ordered him to.

　　"What do you think about what happened?" I asked Alvin.

　　" This matter is yours, Alpha. Settle it with your heart" that what he said.

　　I know Alvin very well, what he said meant that he isn't going to interfere in the issue. I then nodded at him. Allison might be my mate, I wouldn't let her brainwash me into believing what is not.

　　Alvin and I talked about work related before he decided to go home for the day. At first I thought of going to my room but then I remembered Sally. I then brought out my phone and called her.

　　"Where are you?" I asked her.

　　"In my room Alpha," she replied.

　　I then ended the call and headed for her room. I've been to Sally's room times without numbers when we were kids so I know where it was. I told the guards behind me to leave. I then headed to Sally's room all by myself. Sally was already standing outside waiting for me.

　　"Alpha" she bowed.

　　"May I?" I asked her pointing to her room.

　　" Yes Alpha," she said, opening the door.

　　I walked in and sat on her bed.

　　"Tell me the truth, Sally. Why did you order the guard to whip Sam?" I asked.

　　Sally sighed.

　　" The truth alone. I wouldn't want to hear the truth later. I'll be so disappointed and angry. You know how I can be when I am angry" I threatened her.

　　I know Sally to be someone who can take blames if she sees that what happened would hurt the other too much. She has taken so much blame for me so I'm speaking out of experience.

　　"I didn't order Sam to be whipped," she replied.

　　" Then who did?" I asked.

　　"Allison," she replied.

　　I already had my suspicion because of the way Allison was acting. I know Sally would never do such a thing. She would rather have the person punished in another way.

　　"Why didn't you tell me she lied against you?" I asked her.

　　I was seriously angry at Allison. Even with the way I didn't know if Sam truly did what she was accused of, she should have been reported to me, not just commanded them as she wants. She's not even my Luna yet and she's already commanding.

　　"She's your mate, Alpha," she replied.

　　"And so?" I glared. "Now tell me the whole thing," I said firmly.

　　" I don't really know what happened. I just got there to see the rest of the maids hurling hurtful words at Sam. She wasn't even saying anything. I saw broken plates on the floor and Allison's bleeding arm. I didn't see a knife with Sam. She just stood there head bowed as the maids insulted her. I then called her and Allison to my office. She didn't even give me a better explanation, she just told me to order the guards to give her fifteen strokes" Sally explained.

　　" But do you think Sam truly attacked her?"

　　That was my utmost concern. To know if Sam is innocent or not.

　　"I don't think so. Alpha, Sam is the most enduring person I've ever known. There's no amount of hurtful words you will say to her, she wouldn't lift a finger" she replied.

　　I know what she said was true. Sam is such a peaceful person. She's always trying to avoid troubles.

　　"Then why would Allison lie against her and want to hurt her?" I asked with a frown.

　　Sally smiled at me. " Isn't it obvious, Alpha?" She asked me.

　　I know she might have heard of who Sam was to me but I didn't do anything to make her believe I'm still with her. In fact I've drifted away from Sam and this was for Sam's good. I know she wouldn't be happy to see me close when she knows that I'm so far away.

　　"Thanks Sally" I stood up.

　　She stood up too and bowed. I walked out of Sally's room so confused about what I'll do to curb this issue on ground. I wouldn't want Sam to suffer because of me. That poor girl deserves a better life.

　　I then got to my room and switched on the light. I then saw a naked Allison on my bed.

　　"What the heck!" I exclaimed softly.

　　"Hello Alpha," she said with a bright smile.

　　I looked at her and the next thing that came to my mind were the pictures of Sam on my bed. The beautiful time we had together. The way she was screaming out my name when she orgasms. This was the thing that haunts me every night. Sam's fantastic body.

　　"Come Alpha" Allison said.

　　I didn't even realise when she got to me. She was already touching me.

　　"I'm here for you, Alpha," she said with a smile.

　　If it was before I met Sam, I might have given in with such a woman with a nice body but I felt like I was going to betray Sam's trust. I don't know why this is happening to me. I'm with my mate and I'm thinking about another female. This is absurd. I thought the mating bond will pull you so hard to each other and make you stay away from other females.

　　"Allison, isn't this too early?" I asked her. Removing her hand from my body.

　　"No my love. It's not. Since we already know we are made for each other. Even everyone in the pack knows. I've waited for so long to meet my mate and I can't wait to have him touch my body" she said, hugging me.

　　I pulled away. " No Allison. Let's do the mating right first and I'll give you my body" I told her.

　　She seems so sad about this. She took her clothes and wore them.

　　"It's not like I don't want to touch you. I just want to make you mine permanently before I do anything" I quickly defended my actions.

　　This is what I made myself to believe, not only Allison. She eyed me and stood tall.

　　"Was she the one who begged you for sex or you were the one who slept with her without a second thought?" She asked, staring vigorously at me.

　　I know she was really expecting my reply.

　　"Who is she?" I asked, playing dumb.

　　"Don't kid me Alpha. You know who I'm talking about" she frowned.

　　" You can't compare yourself with an ordinary fling. You are my woman. The one who owns the key to my heart and I'll want to be careful and make our day glorious" I sweet mouthed her.

　　She already hated Sam and I wouldn't want her to hate the poor girl any more. I know I'm not helping matters but it's not my fault. My words got her smiling and she moved to me and gave me a full kiss.

　　"I'll be expecting the mating ceremony Alpha" she said and then left.

　　I sighed as she left and then rushed to the bathroom to wash her off me. I couldn't even use the bedspread she laid on. I don't know why my own mating bond is different. I've seen how mating bonds work but mine is totally different. I know how Alvin does with her mate.

　　"Is it because I'm a hybrid?" I asked myself and I've got no one to reply to me.
