Mistake With The Alpha Chapter 72

Sally's POV

　　"Allison is not feeling threatened unreasonably" Viviana said.

　　" Huh," I said, confused.

　　" She knows Sam is Jaylen's true mate".

　　It was as if a bucket of cold water was dropped on my head.

　　"Sorry to worry you, can you repeat that?" I asked, dazed.

　　" She would feel threatened since she knew Sam's the true owner of the mate" Viviana said casually.

　　This is another heartbreaking news to me. So Sam's the real owner of the mate.

　　"But......"

　　"That's the power of magic Sally".

　　" No wonder she wants to kill Sam at all cost" I said with enthusiasm.

　　So she's just trying to snatch the poor girl's mate and kill her.

　　"She can't kill her now. Not until the mating rite is completed".

　　I didn't understand what she meant by that.

　　"Please explain more," I pleaded.

　　"Allison is using Sam's mating bond for herself to Jaylen so if she kills Sam now, it will all be revealed that she stole the mating bond but if the mating right is done, all the mating bond would have shifted to Allison and Sam would be empty and then it would be easy to kill her".

　　" Then I must not allow Jaylen to perform the mating right" I said thoughtfully.

　　" Yes, you must prevent it at all cost".

　　" I'll go tell Jaylen everything right away" I stood up to go.

　　" No you can't!" Viviana shouted.

　　"Why?" I asked bemused. "The best person to find a solution to this issue is Jaylen" I added.

　　" Listen carefully Sally. You know Jaylen is a rare hybrid. If you tell him, he will go into rage and then not even the restricting band would help him. The rage you've been seeing before is just a pinch of what you will see. He will destroy everything and I'm sure you won't want that" she said, crossing her legs.

　　I shook my head. I can't even imagine it.

　　"But what then am I to do? I can't just watch things going wrong" I said disturbed.

　　" The Gemma knows about it, including Drey the witch hybrid".

　　I wondered how they knew. No wonder Ethan wouldn't leave Sam. He was always by her.

　　"The three of you can figure out what to do. Ethan and Drey are already looking for a solution but they'll also need your help" she said.

　　" And I'll be glad to help," I said with a smile.

　　I didn't get to do the duty of the Gamma but now is the opportunity to protect our Luna.

　　"Now go. The Alpha is thinking of coming to you for advice. Make sure to give him a proper one without hinting at what is going on" she said.

　　" Thanks Viviana. You really have been of help to me" I said happily and stood up.

　　Viviana waved and then she was seen no more. I returned to the pot and went back to the pack house.

　　Just as Viviana said, the Alpha came not long after I sat down in my office. I went to the door to open it for him.

　　"Alpha" I bowed.

　　I was already very aware of why he came and I had prepared his answer. I was answering him quite well until he dumped on my other bombshell.

　　"I want to activate my vampire prowess," he said.

　　I didn't know how to react. I remembered what Viviana told me about Jaylen's rage. I became more scared but I tried to hide it knowing how sensitive Jaylen can be.

　　"Alpha" I called.

　　He's the Alpha. I can't tell him not to do what he wants but I know the danger in what he wants to do. Jaylen then made me understand why he wants to do it. I then just told him that he should be careful.

　　There is so much work on my neck. My sleeping days are over. I need to get in touch with Ethan and Drey so we would start to work together to find a lasting solution to all these.

　　Omar's POV

　　"Diana, you have to do something about what is going on," I pleaded.

　　" Didn't I warn your daughter?" She asked me angrily.

　　She has refused to see me since the day what happened happened.

　　"You did but she's a young girl. She was just so annoyed. You can't neglect her for that" I said blankly.

　　I needed her help. She has helped us so far and if she drops out now we would be exposed.

　　"If I had known that your daughter was already in love with that Alpha before now, I wouldn't have allowed her to do it. I would have let you use another" she said.

　　" Just forgive her childishness. You can't just abandon her" I said firmly.

　　The look I was giving her was explaining that she too will be affected if anything goes wrong.

　　"What do you want me to do?" She asked grudgingly.

　　" I don't know. Just do something" I replied.

　　Not that I didn't know about Allison's attitude from pup. I've seen her brutally kill a chicken that wasn't even doing anything wrong to her. I then didn't see it as anything and moreover I think she needs the brutality to survive this life and I was right. Now she would be the Luna and she would need that to be able to attend to anyone that is against her. I wasn't against what she did to that Jaylen's girl but what it caused was what I was against.

　　"We will have to look for a mate for Jaylen's mate" Diana said.

　　This suddenly brightened up my mood.

　　"Is that really possible?" I asked anxiously.

　　" If it's possible to find the almighty mysterious Alpha a fake mate, do you think finding that mere girl a fake mate would be difficult?"

　　I shook my head severally with a grin. I felt so good with this new development.

　　"This is the most brilliant idea I have ever heard from you," I said happily.

　　Diana glared at him and I gave her a smile.

　　"What do you want me to do?" I asked.

　　"Just find me a male" she replied.

　　I stood up immediately. That would be very easy for me to do. But yet, I want to make sure the male I'm going to find will be very perfect for the job. If Sam too has her own mate, it would be easy for Jaylen to let go.
