At the station.

"A search warrant is easy. It's the arrest warrant that won't come through."

Ross sighed.

"Jake Wilson and Lana are definitely involved!"

Zhang was furious. Just thinking about being kicked out made his blood boil.

Bringing Jake and Lana back to the station for more questioning wasn't realistic anymore. The department wouldn't allow it.

They'd already been there no fewer than ten times.

The department had severely reprimanded them for this very reason.

"Find evidence. Even if we have to dig three feet deep, I'll find evidence against those two!"

The materials in front of them were piled like a mountain, yet not a single piece pointed to Jake and Lana.

"Agent Zhang, we have a problem!"

"Just now, we received a report. Daniel Brooks from Wilsonville is dead. His body was dumped under the oak tree."

"This is the fourth person killed in Wilsonville."

Ross's expression was grave.

"Let's go."
