The Perfect Revenge Chapter 7

It was a wooden cabinet, lined with plastic sheeting to prevent leaks, with residual brine still inside.

The wooden cabinet was located in Howard Wilson's storage room.

"Agent Zhang, Detective Ross, there's a hole at the bottom. The brine leaked through here."

Wearing gloves, after confirming this, they continued searching the storage room.

They were shocked.

The murder weapon!

They found the steel rod used to kill Susan Miller, a scalpel, and a bottle of paraquat.

"Confirmed. This is the primary crime scene for the Louis Tucker case."

There were drag marks by the door. Though they'd been cleaned, a cleaned floor and an uncleaned floor look completely different.

"The killer played us with misdirection right under our noses."

Zhang laughed, sounding much more relaxed.

This case had dragged on for over a month. If they didn't solve it soon, who could handle the fury from the higher-ups?

"I bet the killer never expected we'd find this place. The scene is so messy—plenty of evidence!"

"Collect as much evidence as possible. We have murder weapons here, plus the killer struggled with Tucker. They must have left some trace."

"Detective Ross, we have a biological sample."

It was a single strand of hair, thin as could be.

"Detective Ross, we found overlapping fingerprints."

"Detective Ross, we found a large amount of blood."
