The Lilith Protocol Chapter 16

"Little Angel List: Lilith, Agnes, Cindy..."

This list had about ten children. Lilith's name was first, marked with a red circle.

Each child's name had an address after it.

Looked like Lilith wasn't born in this town.

Could it be trafficking?

If number four had the ability to kill others but wasn't an assassin, could he be related to Lilith?

Number eight, shaken, immediately called the others over.

"Walter's actually dead! What's going on?"

Number four shouted fake concern, his gaze moving between number eight and me.

"It wasn't me. Three and I just got here and found the body."

Number eight quickly defended himself.

And I found a harmonica in the corner.

Perfect. My task had a solution.

"Could it be number three? I think she's very suspicious."

Number nine looked at me.

I rolled my eyes, not wanting to respond.

My piano had been destroyed by him.

"Just because I'm looking for clues everywhere and not following you, I'm suspicious? Then tell me, how did I kill Walter?"

"Number two's been following me like human surveillance. I suspect you're doing something behind my back."

Number nine had just been guessing randomly. Of course he had no evidence.

He stammered for a long time, then gritted his teeth.

"Who knows what weird abilities you have?"

"If I had those abilities, I'd kill you first."

I stared at him until he fearfully hid behind number four.

"Let's stop arguing. It's already dark."

Number five said.

Suddenly, he looked back.

"Where's number ten? He's gone."

Number ten had disappeared. If nothing went wrong, he was probably dead.

The Return Night had arrived.

Everyone was on edge, except number four, who was strangely calm, even holding a red bow.

It looked familiar.

Like it would match perfectly with Lilith's red dress.

In this creepy place, with the added "Return" buff, wasn't he afraid?

I quietly found number eight.

"Four should be Lilith's relative. Try guessing."

When the midnight bell rang at 12, the next round would begin.

Just after the 12 o'clock chime, I saw someone collapse.

Number nine died.

He died inexplicably.

He must not have completed his task.

Did this prove sideways that number eight's guess was correct?

Frightened, I immediately started playing.
