The others were terrified.

I looked at number four.

He froze.

The castle doors opened. I could leave.

Looking back at the eager faces of the others, I couldn't wait to walk out.

I looked up. The castle sat in a sinister forest. Several ravens were startled from the trees, flapping their wings as they flew into the distance.
