The Widow's Secret Chapter 15

City bureau major crimes unit.

"You're saying the deceased Susan Miller called you, and the voice was definitely Susan Miller's?"

I nodded vigorously.

"Yes! This is the second call since she died!"

The officer frowned.

"I just contacted the evidence office. Susan Miller's phone has been locked up the whole time."

Looking at the call record on my phone, the officer also fell into thought.

"What did they say?"

I was somewhat nervous. Although this was an interrogation room and Lana couldn't hear, I still worried about affecting her.

"Just say it boldly."

The recorder also looked at me hopefully. The major crimes unit was under a lot of pressure. The case had been going on for over half a month without progress. This call might be their breakthrough.

"They said: Lana is not a good person. But this shouldn't have anything to do with my wife because both times the calls came, Lana was right there."

After giving my statement, Lana and I went home.

But I never expected that someone else had confessed...
