Sarah Miller was arrested for intentional homicide. Wilsonville seemed to return to peace.

Lana and I also went home.

"Go buy some groceries. Let's have a couple drinks at lunch to celebrate."

I looked at Lana and smiled.

Lana was in a good mood and went out readily.

But she left her phone at home.

"This girl, how will she pay?"

I picked up the phone and saw a text notification.

[Jake Wilson is not a good person]

For a moment, I felt a chill run down my spine.

Looking at the sender...

Susan Miller!?

And my phone was ringing.

Caller: Susan Miller.

I swallowed hard and answered.

[Lana is not a good person]

My scalp tingled. I thought they would just say one sentence and hang up as before, but unexpectedly they said a second sentence.

[Next... your good captain, Howard Wilson]

"Beep beep beep"

The call ended. I immediately dialed another number...

"Hello, 911? I need to report something!"
