Darkness Chapter 6: Pet
**Nelly**
I wake up and my entire body is aching. I try to move my hands, but I can't. The pain in my shoulders is unbearable. I realize my arms are restrained above my head to the bed. What the hell? How did I end up here? Where am I? Then it all comes rushing back to me. I was drugged and captured.
I find myself in Vincent's room. I need to escape. I remember I had a small knife hidden in my boot. If I can reach my leg, I might be able to free myself. I struggle to kick my legs up over my head and reach into my boot.
Alec remarks, "Damn, you're quite flexible. The boss will be pleased." He takes something out of his pocket. "Oh, and if you're looking for this, I'll give it to you if you say please."
"Fuck You!" I shout.
Alec smirks, "Oh, I would love to, but I value my life." He approaches me as I struggle to sit up. He fastens a collar around my neck and then releases me from the restraints. I massage my sore shoulders.
Alec inquires, "I'm sure you know what that is, don't you?"
"Yeah, my new dog collar," I spat. "Gee, thanks. It doesn't really go with this outfit. Got one in black? Like the color of your soul?"
He chuckles, "Damn, you are feisty. That collar will send a shock through your body whenever you try to do something you're not supposed to."
"And how will I know what I'm not allowed to do?" I ask.
"Well, the basics: No running, hitting, or trying to kill anyone. I would have said biting, but the boss likes that," he explains with a sly grin as he walks to the door.
"Who are you?" I inquire.
"Alec. The new number two. I know what you did to the last one, so I won't be letting my guard down around you," he says.
"Awww...scared of little old me?" I taunt.
Alec chuckles, “Yeah, I'm not buying the sweet innocent act. I know you'd kill me in the blink of an eye and not break a sweat doing it.” He gestures for me to follow him, leading me to a room opposite Vincent’s. “This will be your room when you are not with Vincent. By the way, he wants you dressed and ready by 9 pm. It's 6 pm now. I'll have food brought up. I'm sure you're hungry, and make sure you dress for him. He's taking you to Scandals.”
“Wait...isn't that a strip?” I inquire.
“Very good. Yes, and he wants you looking the part...pet,” he remarks.
“I'm not a pet,” I hiss.
“I beg to differ. Being a pet isn't all that bad. Just please him, and he'll be nice to you. Don't...well, let's just say his last few pets haven't worked out,” he explains.
I roll my eyes. “Whatever.” He opens the door, and my jaw drops. Damn! “Wow!” The room is elegant, with silk and furs everywhere. It is the most opulent room I have ever stepped into. Chandeliers dangle overhead, and it even has its own fireplace and bathroom. I thought they kept pets in cells or chains when they weren't serving their masters. Have we been wrong?
"Alright, get ready because I'm sending up some food," he said before closing the door. I ran my hand over the bed, grateful for the luxury of a comfortable place to sleep and a hot shower after what felt like an eternity.
I quickly undressed and stepped into the shower, letting the warm water ease the ache in my tired body. As I washed away the grime, I felt a sense of renewal. Stepping out, I wrapped myself in a plush towel and entered the room to find a startled girl placing a plate of food on the table.
She jumped at the sight of me. "Oh my, you scared me."
"Hey, sorry about that," I replied.
"I'm Carrie. I've brought up some food for you. Is there anything else I can assist you with before I leave, miss?" she asked.
"It's Nelly. Um, yeah, could you help me pick out a dress?" I requested.
"Of course," Carrie said as she headed to the closet. "Where are you headed tonight?"
"Desires," I replied.
Carrie grinned. "Oh, okay. So something fancy?"
I sighed. "Yeah, I suppose."
"Not your usual style, huh?" she remarked.
"No, let's just say I haven't had many opportunities to dress up," I admitted.
"Oh, this will work," she says confidently as she hands me an outfit and shoes. "Do you want help with your makeup and hair?"
"Ummm...sure. Thank you," I reply, picking at my food while Carrie works on my makeup. "What's it like?"
"You mean, what can you expect?" she clarifies.
"Yeah. I'm used to fighting them, not sleeping with them," I admit.
Carrie explains, "It all depends. Mine was nice...even gentle. He died recently."
"Oh," I respond, unsure of what to say, wondering if I am somehow connected to his death.
"It's okay. Alright, I think I'm done," Carrie says as she helps me get dressed and wishes me luck before leaving.
I whisper to myself, "Breathe, Nelly. You will figure a way out of this."
There's a knock at the door, and Vincent walks in. Oh, holy sweet baby Jesus. He cannot be that fucking hot! He smells amazing and is wearing a fine dark grey suit. I had seen pictures of him, but they never showed him looking like this.
**Vincent**
I can't wait to see how she looks all dolled up. I instructed Alec to make sure she wore something nice and sexy. I knock on her door and enter. She's standing by the window, gazing out when I walk in. When she turns around, my jaw drops. She's rocking a black leather dress that fits her like a glove. I've seen plenty of women in leather, but none have had quite the same effect on me. I discreetly adjust myself as she looks at me. Hopefully, she didn't notice. "Ready?" I inquire.
"What am I supposed to do?" she questions.
"For now, just accompany me to the club. Keep your head down and your mouth shut. Only speak when spoken to," I instruct.
"Can you take this thing off?" She gestures to the collar. Yeah, that's not happening.
"Not until you understand your place," I retort.
"And where exactly is my place?" she challenges.
"Under me later tonight," I tease.
Her eyes widen momentarily before she regains her composure. "Yeah, we'll see about that," she scoffs, rolling her eyes.
I walk up to her and grab her by her waist. She juts her chin up at me in defiance. I lean down and run my teeth down her neck. Her body shivers as I sink my teeth into her. Her blood courses through my body. It's intoxicating. Her hands come up on my arms and grip them.
When I pull my mouth away, I lick the bite to soothe the pain and close off the wound. When I look up into her eyes, I see a mixture of fear and lust. “You are mine, pet. I will do as I please with you. Let's go.” I wrap my arm around her waist to help her walk. I know she's never been fed from before. I don't want her to fall. I can feel her trying to put distance between us, but she's no match for me.
