Mabel's pov

The sunlight streaming through the window roused me from my slumber. I blinked my eyes, adjusting to the bright light. As I turned my head, I saw a familiar face, one that I loved with all my heart. Adam was lying next to me, his chest rising and falling gently as he slept. I smiled, feeling a sense of contentment wash over me. I knew that he had given up so much to be with me, and I was grateful for that sacrifice. I felt like he was my world, and I couldn't imagine life without him.

As I looked at him, I was filled with a sense of wonder. I couldn't believe how lucky I was to have found him. He was everything I could have ever hoped for, and more. I felt like we had been through so much, and yet our love was stronger than ever. I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him, and I know he feels the same way

I shifted my position slightly, careful not to wake him. I didn't want to disturb his sleep, because I knew how tired he had been lately. I watched him sleep, his features softened in repose. He looked so peaceful, so at ease. It was a sight that I never tired of, and I could have stayed there for hours, just looking at him. But then, I heard a noise outside the window, a bird chirping. It was a beautiful sound, and it made me smile.

I turned my attention back to Adam, and I saw that his eyes were open. He was looking at me, a small smile on his lips. "Good morning," he said, his voice still rough with sleep. I returned the smile, and said, "Good morning to you too." We lay there for a moment, just enjoying the peaceful silence. And then, he said something that made my heart swell with joy.

He reached out and took my hand in his, his fingers warm against mine. He looked me in the eye and said, "You know, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me. I love you so much." I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with emotion. I felt like my heart might burst from the love I felt for him. I leaned in and kissed him, and he kissed me back, our lips meeting in a tender embrace

We lay there, wrapped in each other's arms, lost in our own little world. The worries of the day seemed far away, and all that mattered was the two of us. It was a moment of perfect contentment, a moment I never wanted to end. But, as the minutes ticked by, I knew that the day was beginning, and we would have to face the world again. But for now, I was happy to just stay in this moment, to enjoy the peace and the love I felt.

I stretched, my body stiff from a night of sleep. I sat up slowly, my feet touching the floor. I took a deep breath and stood up, feeling the floor beneath my feet. I walked over to the bathroom, turning on the light. I looked in the mirror, my hair mussed and my eyes still half-closed. I reached for my toothbrush and started brushing my teeth, the minty taste waking my up

I rinsed out my mouth and reached for my hairbrush. I ran it through my hair, trying to tame the wild tangle. I looked in the mirror again, this time seeing myself more clearly. I splashed some water on my face and reached for the moisturizer. I smoothed it over my skin, feeling the coolness against my face. I looked in the mirror again, feeling more awake and ready to face the day

I walked into the kitchen, the smell of coffee wafting through the air. I started to put together a simple breakfast, something to energize me for the day ahead. I heard the shower running, the sound of the water falling on the tile. I hummed to myself, feeling a sense of calm and contentment. I finished making breakfast and set the table, ready to start the day.

I pulled out a bowl and poured some cereal into it. I added milk and a splash of sugar. I grabbed a spoon and sat down at the table. I took a bite of the cereal, the crunchy sweetness satisfying my hunger. I sipped my coffee, the warmth of it spreading through my body. I felt a sense of peace wash over me, the quiet of the morning a balm to my soul

As I ate, I looked out the window. I could see the sun rising, the sky a mix of pink and orange. I watched as the light slowly filled the room, illuminating the space around me. I felt the day beckoning to me, and I knew it was time to get ready for what lay ahead. I put my dishes in the sink and headed to my room
