Mabel's pov

I felt a rush of emotions as I realized what was happening. A powerful Alpha, one of the most respected in the region, wanted to make me his mate. I couldn't believe it. I had been rejected by my parents, and now this. I felt a surge of pride, of validation. I was valuable, I was worthy. I couldn't believe that this was happening. I felt like the luckiest person in the world.

Then, my thoughts turned to the Alpha. I wondered what it would be like, to be his mate. Would I be happy? Would he treat me well?

I met his gaze, and my heart skipped a beat. His eyes were like the ocean. His smile was warm, genuine. I couldn't help but smile back. I was glad I had gone to the pub last night, that I had met him. It had changed my life, in a way I never could have imagined.

I thought about what it would be like to be with him, to be his mate. I wondered if I would be happy. I knew there was a risk, but I also knew that I couldn't live my life wondering what could have been.

I stepped away from him, my heart beating fast. I felt a rush of adrenaline, of anticipation. I needed some time to think, to process what was happening. I made my way to the bathroom, the cool tiles a relief against my bare feet. I turned on the water, waiting for it to warm up. As I waited, I tried to make sense of everything that had happened.

I felt like I was in a dream, like I was floating on a cloud. I couldn't believe my luck. But then, I thought about the Alpha.

As the warm water from the shower hit my skin, I felt a sense of peace wash over me. I was tired, and the water helped to relax my muscles. I closed my eyes, letting the water wash away the stress of the day. I thought about everything that had happened, about how lucky I had been. I was glad I had gone to the pub last night, that I had taken a chance. I smiled to myself, feeling a sense of satisfaction.

I let the water run over me, feeling it cleanse me. I felt like a new person, ready to face whatever came next.

As the water cascaded down my body, I thought about the previous night. I had never done anything like that before, never taken such a risk. I had never thought I would be the kind of person to have a one night stand, to do something so impulsive. But it had happened, and I couldn't regret it. And for some reason I was I didn't feel remorseful and I couldn't change what had happened. I was left with the memory, and the physical consequences.

I sighed, feeling the soreness in my body. I was still adjusting to what had happened, to the reality of my new situation.

I turned off the water and stepped out of the shower, the steam still swirling around me. I grabbed a towel and wrapped it around myself, feeling its softness against my skin. I looked in the mirror, seeing my flushed face and damp hair. I felt alive, like I had woken from a dream. I took a deep breath, feeling a new sense of confidence. I was ready to face the world, ready to take on whatever came next.

I took a few more deep breaths, grounding myself in the present moment.

I knew I was in a difficult situation. Adam had asked me to follow him to his pack and become his Luna, and I was ready for it because Davis was supposed to pay my bride price yesterday but unfortunately I was rejected

I knew it would be a big commitment, and I was ready for anything

I took a deep breath after wearing my clothes.

Adam entered the room, his smile warm and inviting. I couldn't help but smile back, relieved to see him. I felt a sense of comfort in his presence, a sense of belonging. I was glad to know that someone cared about me, someone who understood me.

I wasn't sure what to say, but I knew I needed to be honest with him. I needed to be honest with myself. "Adam," I said, my voice shaking slightly. "Yes"

But for some reason, I hesitated, wanting to make the right decision. But then, something inside of me shifted. I knew that this was what I wanted, what I needed. I wanted to be with Adam, to be his Luna. I wanted to follow him to his pack. I nodded, taking a deep breath. "I'll go with you," I said, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. "I want to be with you."

Adam smiled, his eyes shining with emotion. "Thank you," he said, pulling me into a tight embrace.

As we drove away from my pack, I felt the cool breeze blowing in through the window, my hair blowing in the wind. I looked out at the passing landscape, the trees and fields rushing by. I felt a sense of adventure, of possibility. I was on a new journey, heading into the unknown. But I was with Adam, and I knew that together, we could face anything.

I closed my eyes, breathing in the fresh air. I felt free, like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. For the first time in a long time, I felt like myself again.

We pulled up to the edge of his pack's territory, and I turned to look at Adam. He gave me a reassuring smile, holding my hands gently. "It's going to be okay," he said, his voice soft. "I promise."

I nodded, trying to believe him. I took a deep breath, and we both got out of the car. I looked around, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings. Everything was new, everything was unknown. I felt a flicker of fear, but I pushed it away.
