Alpha Cameron's Vengeful Mate Chapter 11

The other wolf that was next to him, comes to stand next to me with a slight smile on his face. “Hi. I am Beta Talon. I guess you’ll be leaving with us and it doesn’t look like we’ll be staying for the festivities which should make him happy unless this asshole pisses him off further.” he whispers to me and I smile. 

“Nice to meet you Beta Talon. My name is Tiyanna, but you can call me Tee or Yanna. I don’t know if he wants me to go with you though.” I whisper back. 

“Why do you say that?” he asks me. 

“Because he seemed okay while he was checking me out, but then he started frowning. I’m not sure he is going to accept me as his mate.” I say to him in a whisper. 

“Hmm, you may be right about that part, but I’m hoping you can change his mind. We really need a Luna.” he says back to me. I’m about to ask him what he means when I hear a loud growl coming from Alpha Cameron and see that his eyes have turned completely black. 

“Then I guess we should fix that little problem.” He yells at Alpha Conrad before turning to look at me. Part of me knows that he won’t hurt me, but another part of me isn’t so sure. “Come here.” he commands but that doesn’t work on me and I get a little pissed that he tried to use his Alpha command on me. I put my hands on my hips and stand as straight as I can while glaring daggers at him. 

“Don’t you dare try using your Alpha command on me Alpha Cameron. If you want me to do something all you have to do is ask. I’m your mate not your servant.” I say to him before slowly walking closer. 

“Break the bond to this pack.” He commands as though I didn’t say anything. 

“Did you not hear what I said?” I said to him. 

“I don’t take orders from you. You will do as I say and never question me.” He yells. Oh, this guy really has some nerve. I’m getting more furious by the second, so I turn and look at Beta Talon, and he just shrugs his shoulders. I turn back to my mate and Alpha Conrad, who is smirking at me.  

*“Go ahead and break the bond. One day in his pack and you’ll be wishing you could come back here. You’ll be dead in a week.”* I heard Alpha Conrad laugh through the mind-link. 

*“Lets just break the bond and worry about our mate later. We were going to leave anyway.”* says my wolf. 

*“You’re right,”* I told her. 

“I, Tiyanna Duhon, break all bonds with Alpha Conrad and the Red Dawn pack now and forever.” I say in a strong voice before I feel the bond to the pack break and my scent slowly begins to change. Every pack has a unique smell and now that I no longer belong to a pack, I will take on a forest smell though I am a rogue. Only completely feral rogue wolves have a rotten smell. 

The Alpha and Luna both whimper in pain as the pack bond breaks and I can’t help the smile that forms on my lips. Alpha Cameron smirks at Alpha Conrad and tells Beta Talon to take me to gather my things and that we’ll be leaving soon. Talon comes towards me and we head to the stairs and head to my room. Once inside, I grab a duffel bag and take some clothes, shoes, pictures of my parents, jewelry, and my phone and charger when I remember something. 

“Talon, I was supposed to go into town today to meet with my lawyer. Do you think we can do that before we head to your pack?” 

“Your lawyer? Why do you have a lawyer?” he asks me. I look at him to gauge whether I can trust him and decide that whether I can or not, they can’t do anything to get my inheritance anyway. Even if his Alpha doesn’t reject me, my money is mine and mine alone. 

“When I lost my parents, at a young age, they left me a very sizable inheritance. Alpha Conrad tried getting ahold of it because quite frankly this pack is damn near bankrupt. My fortune could bank roll this pack for years to come, though with the way they manage money I doubt it would last that long. Part of why they treat me the way they do is because they can’t get my money.” 

“How do they treat you here?” he asks me. 

“Well, there have been beatings, whippings, starvation, and even nights in the dungeon.” A low growl comes from him and I look up at him.
