Alpha Cameron's Vengeful Mate Chapter 49

When the interrogation was finally done, I went back to the pack house to find there were no problems. I thanked the Moon Goddess for that and went to my office after telling Talon to bring Tiyanna to me. There was some paperwork that I needed to handle with her but now I also needed to tell her that her parents didn’t die as she believed protecting that sorry Alpha and his mate. It seems that the Red Dawn had more illegal crap going on than I originally thought.  

Before she even walks into my office, I can smell her scent and my body instantly calms. Practically this whole day has been stressful as hell and I just knew that there would be chaos when I came back home, but thankfully there was none. These two are going to have to learn to live in the same place without trying to kill each other. “Well, if you’d kick that whore out and accept our mate there would be no problems.” says my wolf. 

“We’ve been through this, now will you please just let it go.” I say back to him. 

There’s a soft knock on the door and I tell her to come in and have a seat. She’s wearing grey sweatpants that are kind of loose on her and a white sports bra with a loose grey tank top over it and her long curly hair is in a high ponytail. I’m guessing she was working out but damn if the woman isn’t still sexy. “Okay focus Cameron” I say to myself as I run my hand over my face. She takes a seat in one of the chairs in front of my desk and I try to think of what information to deal with first. After watching her quietly for a few seconds, I decide to handle the paperwork first before telling her the bad news about her parents. The rogue gave me more information than I thought and since he was forced to do those things, I decided to show leniency for once. That shocked the hell out of Talon and the guards that were there. Leniency is never on the table where criminals are concerned. I had his family brought to him then paid for them to leave the country and join a pack I know of in the UK. The Alpha of the pack owed me a favor, so he agreed to take them into his pack. 

“You wanted to see me?” It came out as a question even though I could hear some confusion in her voice. 

“Well, we do have some business to finalize, but there is something else that I need to discuss with you when we’re done.” She just nods in understanding. 

“Okay, well there is something that I need to discuss with you as well. Like what the hell was that in my conference room? You put me through all of that knowing that you were the one going to my company today.” She said sounding mad, but I can tell she was more shocked and a bit relieved. The shock I could understand but what was the relief about? 

“Honestly, I didn’t know that it was your company. It isn’t like you, and I have conversations about what’s going on in each other's lives.” I said matter-of-factly and she winces a bit. 

“Whose fault is that?” she murmurs but I know she doesn’t really want an answer. “Anyway, why’d you kiss me?” Now that question is one that even I don’t have the answer to and wish I did. 

“I don’t know. It just happened, but don’t read anything into it because it won’t happen again. Besides, there’s more important things we need to discuss than a kiss. Now, these are the papers that need both of our signatures to make the deal legal. Look them over and sign them when you’re ready. I’ve already signed where I need to, but I’m sure that you’ll want your lawyer to look them over with you.”  

“Yes, I’ll have him go over them with me in the morning and if everything is good then I’ll have them on your desk no later than five this evening. Now, what’s this other business you need to speak to me about and can you make it quick as I have a date tonight.” she says. My wolf growls before I can stop it and she narrows her eyes at me. “What the hell is wrong with you?” she says. 

“What do you mean you have a date? With who?” My wolf has taken over at this point and I am now fighting to regain control. Who cares if she goes on a date. 

“Cameron, control your wolf. I can go on a date if I want to and with who is none of your business. If he can see another woman then why can’t I go out with another man?” If I’m honest with myself, it does kind of hurt me knowing that another man will be getting close to her. 

“I care that another wolf will be with my mate. My human is stupid. I’ve warned him this could happen. I will not sit by and let him make this mistake anymore.” My wolf quickly grabs her and pulls her towards us, and before we both can figure out what is happening, he kisses her deeply and trails down her neck to her marking spot and when I realize what he is about to do, it is too late. She moans softly before I feel my canines elongate and he sinks them deep into her neck making her yell out in pain as my canines retract and my wolf licks the wound to seal it before she pulls back  in our arms and I see that her wolf is now present as well. 

“What the hell have you done?!” I yell at my wolf. 

“I did what you wouldn’t to keep our mate. I, Alpha Cameron Black of the Black Diamond pack reject your rejection and accept you, Tiyanna Silver as our mate and Luna.” says my wolf and the bond solidifies even more. Her wolf smiles at us before speaking. 

“Good job mate. These humans are both silly and childish. I, Tiyanna Silver, formerly of the Red Dawn pack rescind my rejection and accept you, Alpha Cameron Black as our mate and Alpha.” she says and now the bond is complete.
