SYBILLA'S POV

"Okay. I want her gone now more than ever!" I hissed, my voice trembling with rage and humiliation.

Evanthe's perfectly manicured eyebrow arched slightly, her lips curving into a subtle smile. "Good. Follow me."

I trailed behind her as she led me through the Silver Moon Tower's pristine corridors.

Evanthe guided me to a small, unmarked door that I'd never noticed before. She pressed her palm against a hidden scanner, and the door slid open silently, revealing a narrow staircase descending into darkness.

"Where are we going?" I whispered, suddenly nervous.

"Somewhere private," Evanthe replied without looking back. "Somewhere without ears or eyes."

The staircase led to a small, windowless conference room buried deep within the building's foundation. The walls were lined with some kind of material I couldn't identify, and there wasn't a single camera in sight. A single table with two chairs occupied the center of the room, illuminated by recessed lighting that cast everything in a cold, clinical glow.

"What is this place?" I asked, glancing around nervously.

"A meeting room for conversations that need to stay off the record," Evanthe replied, gesturing for me to take a seat. "The walls are soundproofed with special materials that block even werewolf hearing."

Once we were seated, Evanthe leaned forward, her blue eyes gleaming with intensity. "The Silver Moon Group is hosting a fighting tournament this weekend," she said. "Two very important Alpha werewolf business tycoons will be attending as special guests."

I frowned, not understanding what this had to do with Isolde. "And?"

"And we're going to use them to get rid of Isolde once and for all."

My heart skipped a beat. "How? The last time we tried to 'get rid' of her, it failed. You had to silence that innocent Moon Alliance girl to keep our secret."

The memory of Ash's death still haunted me sometimes. She hadn't been part of our plan—just an unfortunate casualty when our attempt to frame Isolde had gone wrong. Evanthe had handled it with terrifying efficiency, making it look like an accident.

Evanthe's expression remained unchanged, as if we were discussing nothing more serious than weather. "Poison," she said simply.

I blinked, certain I'd misheard. "Poison?"

"We're going to poison the two Alphas and make it look like Isolde did it."

My mouth fell open as the full implications hit me. "Are you insane?"

"No," Evanthe corrected calmly. "Isolde will take the fall. She won't escape judgment for such a serious crime, especially when it involves two prominent figures from the cross-regional werewolf business alliance."

I shook my head vigorously, panic rising in my chest. "No. No... that's too risky. We can't do that. If we get caught, we're done for too."

My body trembled with fear as I imagined the consequences. "It's suicide! If we're caught, we'll be publicly executed. Blood for blood in werewolf court."

Evanthe reached across the table and gripped my shoulders firmly, her nails digging into my skin. "We won't get caught, okay? If I'm suggesting it, it means I know how we'll do it. I have a plan. I know the Silver Moon Group's security systems and surveillance network like the back of my hand."

Despite her reassurance, terror coursed through my veins. "Evanthe... I really don't think this is a good idea." I swallowed hard, trying to find a way out. "I'm sure there are other ways we can deal with Isolde. Something that doesn't involve murdering two Alphas."

"Don't be a coward," Evanthe snapped, her eyes flashing dangerously. "Especially given everything that's happening in your life right now."

She released my shoulders and leaned back, her voice dropping to a cold, calculated tone. "Yes, if we're caught, we'll be publicly executed. Our families will suffer for our treason, and all business assets will be confiscated." She paused, letting the gravity of her words sink in. "But who says we'll be exposed? Yes, most of my plans to take down Isolde have failed, but have I ever left any trails leading back to us?"

I had to admit she hadn't. "No."

"Isolde is winning this battle," Evanthe continued, frustration evident in her voice. "Ezra is deeply in love with her. Their mate bond is becoming more obvious by the day."

"I heard rumors around the company that Ezra is losing interest in her," I offered hopefully.

Evanthe scoffed, dismissing my comment with a wave of her hand. "They'll make up sooner or later. The mate bond doesn't just disappear because of a little disagreement."

Her eyes narrowed as she leaned closer. "If Isolde ends up becoming Luna of the Silver Moon Group, we can kiss our freedom goodbye. Isolde isn't stupid. She knows we're the masterminds behind everything bad that's happened to her in the Moon Alliance Program. She knows we're all responsible for Ash's death. She'll make sure we pay for everything we've done to her. The Silver Moon underground prison will be our new home. That's if we're not executed."

She let her words hang in the air. "We need to strike before she has a chance to strike back!"

A chill ran down my spine as I imagined Isolde in power, wielding Ezra's authority against us. Goosebumps erupted across my skin at the thought of the punishment she would inflict. I couldn't let that happen.

I met Evanthe's gaze and nodded, my resolve hardening. The plan was risky, dangerous, life-threatening, and sacrilegious, but it had to be done.

Evanthe's expression softened with satisfaction. "Good." Her voice was calm now, more relaxed and composed. A hint of gold flashed in her eyes. "I don't have the detailed plan on how to execute it yet, but I will in a few days. Let me think more about it. I need to leverage my resources in the PR department."

She placed her hand on my shoulder again, gentler this time. "Let's do this together and get rid of her once and for all. When I finally become Luna of the Silver Moon Group, I'll make sure your position in werewolf society is solidified and all those spreading those awful rumors about you are punished. I'll give you a high-ranking position too. I promise."

"Thank you," I said, managing a genuine smile for the first time that day.

As we left the secret meeting room, I felt a strange mix of fear and anticipation. For the first time since the cafeteria incident, I was smiling from the heart, eager to see Isolde dragged down from her position in Ezra's heart and thrown back into the mud where she belonged.
