Betrayed and Claimed by the Lycan King Chapter 319

Lillian's POV

"I said I don't like any of the outfits you've shown me! Bring me new ones!" My voice echoed through the penthouse suite, growing louder with each word until I was practically shouting.

The assistants standing before me exchanged terrified glances, their bodies trembling slightly. Good. They should be afraid.

It had been over thirty minutes of this back-and-forth, and my patience was wearing dangerously thin. These incompetent fools clearly had no sense of fashion whatsoever. How the hell did they even get jobs at a top-tier corporation like Silver Moon Group?

*They don't deserve to work here,* I thought venomously. *None of them understand what it means to serve someone of my caliber.*

"But Lillian—" one of the servants began.

I let out a disbelieving laugh, my golden eyes cutting through her like a blade. "Lillian?" I repeated, my voice dripping with contempt. "You dare address me by my name? Do you have any idea who I am? I'm your future Luna, the fated mate of the most powerful Alpha in this city, you idiot!"

The servant immediately bowed, fear written all over her face as she took several steps back. "I'm so sorry, Miss Torres. It was a slip of the tongue. Please forgive me. I promise it won't happen again."

I rolled my eyes dismissively. "Whatever."

*This is exactly how they should treat me. I'm mated to the Lycan King that this entire city reveres. I expect them to show me the same respect. Even if I have to plant that fear in their hearts myself, I will!*

"Just like I said, I don't like any of the outfits you brought me. Bring me new ones." My tone was firm, my eyes flashing with a threatening gleam.

One of the servants mustered the courage to speak, though fear was evident in her eyes. She hesitated for several seconds before opening her mouth. "Miss Torres, these are the latest designs. If you want new ones, we'll have to contact the design teams for special customization."

"And what's stopping you from doing exactly that? Can't Silver Moon Group afford the rush fees?" I demanded.

She quickly shook her head. "Nothing at all, Miss Torres."

"Good. You have one hour to get me new, better outfits. Otherwise, Ezra will hear about how poorly you performed today."

"Yes, Miss Torres." The girl turned and hurriedly left the penthouse.

*I love seeing them so afraid of me. I want them to fear me exactly like this. I'm bonded to the Lycan King this entire city worships. I expect them to treat me the same way. Even if I have to personally plant that fear in their hearts, I will!*

I knew they were probably cursing me in their heads, but I couldn't care less. *I'm their future Luna, whether they like it or not, and they'll serve me exactly how I want to be served!*

"Miss Torres," another servant approached cautiously, "the kitchen staff is asking if you'd like breakfast now?"

"Only bring it up when you're confident I'll like it, because if you serve me more of those so-called 'health foods,' I'll throw it in your face. Tell the chef I want French toast and fresh fruit."

"Understood, Miss Torres." Another girl quickly noted it on her tablet before leaving.

A third servant inquired about my spa appointment. "Your spa package is ready. Which essential oils would you prefer this time?"

I let out an exasperated sigh. "Last time I asked for lavender oil and you used rose oil instead. Who knows what you'll screw up this time? Just go. I'll choose myself until I find someone who can do the job perfectly."

"May I leave now, Miss Torres?"

"Yes. You're all a bunch of incompetent idiots. How did Ezra even hire people like you?"

The servant bowed and retreated from the penthouse.

Alone at last, I got up from the king-sized bed, letting out a soft breath with a slight smile playing on my lips as I admired the city panorama through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Being back in Ezra's penthouse felt like a dream. *Now that I'm back by his side, I'll do everything I can to solidify my position as Luna and ensure no one can replace me, especially that new werewolf girl...*

A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts. I called for them to enter.

An older woman stepped in, and I immediately recognized her as Una, who managed Ezra's personal affairs. Ezra had introduced her to me this morning, speaking highly of her and showing how important she was to him.

*I don't like her.* Something about Una rubbed me the wrong way. *I hate that she dresses like an executive. No matter what, she's still service staff, so she should dress more humbly.*

I raised an eyebrow, tapping my fingers against the bedside table. "Yes?"

Una stood there calmly, holding a tablet in her hands.

"The servants told me that none of the outfits met your taste, and you've requested specially customized new ones," she stated matter-of-factly.

"They're absolutely right. The quality of clothing here is subpar."

"And it seems like nothing they do can satisfy you," Una continued.

"They haven't been serving according to Silver Moon Group standards. I'm extremely dissatisfied with their level of professionalism."

"If I may ask, Miss Torres, in what ways have they failed to meet standards?"

I was completely taken aback by her question and tone. It felt like I was being interrogated. "Are you questioning me?"

"Isn't it obvious?"

I scoffed, laughing in disbelief. "Wow! Do you know who I am?"

"I'm perfectly aware of who you are, Miss Torres. I just want to know what the servants did wrong so I can correct them and ensure they serve you better next time."

"I think I know what the first thing I'll do when I become Luna will be. I'm going to have Ezra fire all of you. You're all a bunch of lazy and incompetent—"

"Do you need anything else, Miss Torres?" Una interrupted me with a completely expressionless face.

*That old witch! How dare she?*

I lifted my chin defiantly. "Yes. I need you to tell those useless assistants that once Ezra finds out how poorly they served me today, they'll be fired. And you will be fired too for talking back to me. Don't forget, I'm his fated mate."

"If you need anything, please press the call button." With that, Una turned and left the room.

*I'm sure she's cursing me in her head, but that's not my concern. What I know is that I'm back, and a lot of things in this city are going to change! No one can stop me from becoming the Luna!*
