The Rare and Rejected Mate Chapter 11

Amber's P.O.V.

I'm in a building of some sort and I hear whimpers of other girls being brought here too. These people take the blindfolds off and I see around 12 girls here with me all of them are daughters of Alphas'.

"SHUT UP ALL OF YOU!!"

muffled yelling and screaming.

"Aye get her to shut up or it's lights out for her." One of the men says to the other whose holding a gun. As soon as the gun is pointed at her face she stops.

"Now you ladies have been brought here to fulfill our plan." We look at each other with scared eyes. "This is just the beginning of what's to come, until then you will be here, locked up, of course, you will be free to roam around the room but, this is where you'll be staying until our plan is complete." Next thing you know they untie us and lead us to the room where we'll be staying, there are a few mattresses on the floor, another room for the bathroom, well not a room more like a half wall with a door. Well, at least we can be comfortable here, then they shut the door behind us and lock it. The girls are flop down on the mattresses and soon some are asleep. I walk over to a mattress near the wall of the bathroom and sit and think, I mean that's all we can do in here anyway.

"Hi, I'm Beth."

"Beth!" I jump up and hug her, she used to go to my Middle school before she and her family moved. "You got trapped here too?"We both sit on the mattress and scoot back to the wall at the head of the mattress.

"It was so weird, one minute I was on a run with my brother and when I woke up, we were surrounded by wolves, unfortunately, my brother had just shifted and I was recovering from a bite injury. In the end, they killed my brother and when I woke up I was here. I am surprised you're here."

"I am too, but I have a feeling who is behind this."

"Really, who?"

"My brother's ex, she has never liked me and I never liked her."

"Did she reject your brother or something?"

"No, she was never his mate, just his girlfriend." Another girl comes over and then two more.

"How could anyone ignore their mates?"

"Apparently my brother did, of course since we are Alpha daughters, we shift early, so he knew who his mate was before she did, she turns out to be my best friend. Her name is Diamond, I call her D and she is a blue diamondback wolf." Everyone gasp. the girls then sit on the mattress or the floor trying to be quiet while the other 6 girls sleep.

"Those wolves are extinct."

"She's the last of them, her grandmother was a blue diamondback and apparently passed the gene onto her." The girls whisper to each other.

"May I ask, what on earth would possess your brother to reject her?" One of the girls, her name s Caroll, asks.

"Well at the time he didn't know that she was a blue diamondback, she isn't an Alpha's daughter so, she cant shift til after her 21st birthday, but she happened to shift a few days before then and that's how he found out. Still, he chose his girlfriend over her which was a stupid move because a few days later after he rejected her, he lost the title to future Alpha. The Elder council don't look too kindly on those who defy their mates." Then one of the girls raises her hand and changes the subject completely.

"So how did you end up here and not her?"

"That's what I like to know as well. They said we are a part of their plan, we just need to find out about the plan, and I think I know-how.

A while later the kidnapers bring us food, just a sandwich, and a cookie, for a drink they tell us to drink from the toilet. Who knows how long we've been in here, there are no doors or windows, it's just a room with one vent to shuffle out air or heat, and neither is on now. While most of the girls get ready to sleep, I'm up thinking and coming up with a plan to get us out of here, but this has to be well thought out otherwise, it won't work and who knows what would happen to us if the plan fails. I need all the girls' help, in order for this to work for us, I know they're planning something big, just don't know what. Until I do, none of us can let our guard down.

"Amber?"

"What's wrong Beth?"

"I miss my brother," I tell her to come to sit with me on my mattress and we can talk. Beth is a few years younger than me, she's 20, just turned 20 last week. She's shorter than me, but she was a feisty one when we last saw each other, I wonder if she is still the same. Her brother always had a huge crush on me, he was six years older than me, but he said it was love at first sight. It is so sad that he is now dead, and their parents must be so devastated.

"Beth, do you know who attacked you and brought you here?"

"I heard a few voices, but only one of them was a girl's voice."

"Did you recognize her?"

"When they knocked me out before everything went black, I saw that she has reddish hair with freckles on her face."

"That's my brother's ex-girlfriend, her name is Jen."

"What's she like?"

"Awful, she doesn't like to hear the word no, she is spoiled rotten, a brat at most, she's like a walking sex toy. Fortunately, he dumped her and is now with his mat, thank Goddess he took back the rejection before it was too late." Beth's eyes widen in shock.

"Took back whattttt....rejection."

"Yes, he rejected her for the girlfriend. I'm not sure what was going through his mind at that moment, but I'm so glad that he changed and now he has his title back as future Alpha and not me."

"You don't want to be Alpha?"

"It's not that I don't want to, I have a mate and I want to be his Luna and besides have you ever heard of a female Alpha, the Elders won't allow it."

"You have a mate, I bet he is so worried."

"Yea, he is. Do you have a mate?" Beth's eyes light up after the word mate.

"Yes, his name is Tom, he is sweet and smart and kind. At first, he wasn't sure about me but, that quickly changed when the Moon Goddess paired us up."

"Wait, you knew him before?"

"Yea, him and I are in the same pack and now, we are engaged to be married but, I won't be there, we were to be next week but, then I just had to go and get kidnapped."

"Beth, I'm sure they are looking for us as we speak, don't worry they will come for us. Until they do we need to figure out an escape plan just in case they try to do something funny but, first, let's get some sleep."

We wake up a few hours later or in the morning, I don't know what time it is, and we notice one of the girls is gone. I go towards the door and try to hear what's going on.

"You wanted to talk to us?"

"Yes, I have some information for you." She wanted to talk to them, what is she thinking? "Some of the girls were talking about escaping and making a plan, I think some of them have trackers on their bodies." I look back at the girls and they stare back at me.

Pow

With the sound of a gunshot, they killed her. Soon blood pours in the room and some of the girls scream at the sight of it. I back away from the door and go back to my mattress and they come in and throw the body on the floor in front of us.

"This is what happens when you don't listen to us. Now everyone, take off your earrings or anything you have on you, piercings, rings, bracelets, secret trackers, anything." One of the guys walks up to me.

"Can I have this one, she's pretty, I'll take good care of her and then kill her." I try not to show my worry but, on the inside, I'm so scared. I want to live and make it out of here, I want to see Deon again.

"As soon as the guy touches me, he is instantly shocked by me, I don't know how but, he soon changes his mind about me. Soon the men leave the room with the body and lock at the door behind them but, when they slam the door one of the nails in the wall falls out of the door hinge and creates a hole, and now we have a marker for the time of day and night.
