The Rare and Rejected Mate Chapter 29

Aston's P.O.V.

"What is this? Danielle, get your butt down here. DANIELLE, DANIELLE NADIA, GET HERE NOW. WHAT'S THAT GIRL DOING UP THERE!!!!!" What in the world is she doing up there, she better not be asleep, I need my dinner.

I go to her door and I hear nothing. I knock again and hear nothing. I knock again and still hear nothing finally getting impatient, I knock down the door. I'll look around and see her clothes are gone her laptop is gone everything is gone except her furniture and I see 4 notes. One addressed to me, another addressed to the pack, another to her parents and another addressed to her siblings.

I read my letter and come to the conclusion that I shouldn't have rejected her I shouldn't have hurt her I shouldn't have abused her all those years, I should have been more nice to her but I wasn't, man, I'm an ass. Her brothers and sisters are no better they didn't help her when she was getting abused. I knew part of this was my fault and so I need to call a meeting with the pack.

Once I came back downstairs with the letters in my hand I handed each of them to the parents, the siblings, and then I read the other one to the pack. They all felt sorry for how they treated her, not just because she knew how to do everything and she would the only one that did everything but they hate it when they push their pack number so far that she was actually considering killing herself.

Dani's P.O.V.

I've been running 4 hours and I'm tired, if I can shift into my wolf, I would, but I can't my mate is not here and I never shifted before in my life.

I then feel my bones breaking and shifting and then this horrible pain goes through my body.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh" I hear voices, but I can't really see them, due to the fact that I am in horrible pain.

"Sir, it's a rogue, what do we do." Asked my Beta.

"We can't just leave her out here like this." I look over her and then recognize the necklace that I gave her when we were younger. "Danielle?" She perks up a bit at the sound of her name.

Danielle's P.O.V.

"Where am I? What's going on?"

"Oh good, you're awake." Said this mysterious person walking toward me.

"You don't remember me, do you?" She looked at me confused.

"Am I supposed to remember you?"

"It's me D." She recognizes the nickname and jumps up to hug me.

"Sabrina, it's you. I thought I never see you again, I missed you so much."

"D, how are you feeling, lie back down. You'll be in pain soon."

"But why?"

"You're going to shift soon."

"Oh yea, I can't wait, I finally get to see my wolf. I wonder is she pretty, strong, tough, or all three." Just then I feel my bones breaking again and moving to a new spot in my body, the pain is intense, along with another pain as well. That pain can only mean one thing, ASHTON!!!!!!!!!!

Ashton's P.O.V.

I feel this intense pain in my chest, but I don't know what it is. Right now all I want to feel is the inside of this slut right in front of meeeeeeeeeeeee. Woah, another wave of pain, but this time, it's more intense and stronger.

"Babe, is anything wrong?"

A knock came on the door and there was David, Danielle's older brother. He stood there shot he instantly yell that Kelsey to get out and she grabbed her clothes and left. What I heard next was not expected especially not from a pack member.

"You cheat, so after you reject my sister and make her run away, you have sex with Kelsey do you know what kind of pain she's in right now. My sister feels everything that you do to other girls."

"You don't think I know that." I said while I was shaking"

"What's wrong with you why are you shaking," he said as he was walking towards me very cautiously.

" I don't know I've been feeling this pain in my chest for a while now it stopped for a bit but then it intensifies and it still happening"

Just then amber came in. "Bro-, I mean Alpha I know why you're shaking and, oh hey David." She continued. "She is beginning to shift, I hate to know that she's going to her first time shifting alone."

Just then the pain all of a sudden just stopped. " The pain stopped"

She then turns to me and said. " she must have survived her first shift by herself, or someone was there to help her"

Now I know that she is alive and well I will do anything I can to find her but what is the rush I have all I need here I have endless girls. I'm young, hot, rich, who would want a dumb nerd as a mate. Not me

Ashton's P.O.V.

"It's what I feared, someone else has taken your place. And this is all your fault if you hadn't would check it her we wouldn't be here in the first place and you wouldn't be feeling this incredible amount of pain and she wouldn't feel it either but I'm just had to reject her you had to have to slept you had to be single and not be tied down to your mate. I hope my mate if half the man that you are not, I hope he is kind, and he won't do reject me because I will make him want me. You're a pathetic excuse for a brother." And with that, she left.

Amber's P.O.V.

I feel bad for what I've done to Dani, I need to find her. "Let's go," I tell my wolf and instantly I shift. Dani, if you can hear me, I'm sorry for all that's happened. I didn't mean for any of it.

"You think she'll forgive me," I ask my wolf.

"I know Dani, she will" Livie, my wolf barks back.

"Well, let's find her, she's my friend, future sister in law and I hated to do that to her. Now I know I need to treasure her. She's a good person." My wolf barked happily at my response.

Dani's P.O.V.

I'm shifting, finally, I'll get to see my wolf, but this pain is unbearable.

"Ryan, Rye!!!!! She's shifting." Yelled Sabrina.

"Dani, hold on. Mark, get the cream!!" He yelled out the door to his Beta.

"Ryan, is that you? I say weakly.

"Yes, it's me D." I try to get up, but can't move. The pain hurts so bad, but then I get the sudden urge to go outside and then after a few minutes............

Amber's P.O.V.

She did it, she shifted, I'm so proud of her. I have been running for 2 days now and still can't find her, but wait. I see a wolf, red with white paws and stars on her back. It's rare to see that kind of wolf, there are only 4 in existence. Oh no, it spotted me.

"What are you doing here?" It says to me.

"You shouldn't be here, give me one good reason why I shouldn't tear your throat out. After all the betrayal of you and Kelsey, I don't think I should let you live." Dani said to me, I was honestly hurt.

"I know you won't forgive me, but at least hear me out."

"Ok, I'll listen to you, but not out here. These woods are filled with listening ears."

Ryan's P.O.V.

"I'm glad you're safe, I was worried about you. First off me and my brother have never been close." She started her story.

"My brother never liked me I don't know why maybe it had something to do with my parents but when I got older around 16 I family decided that it was time for me to stop talking to them kama to act like that I never existed that I'm not there's that I was just a rogue just wanting to join the pack. My parents told me they never wanted a girl all they want it was a boy. When my brother heard that he was upset but he couldn't do anything because at the time my father was still Alpha. As the years went by and we basically stop speaking to each other until my brother met you. He said there was something about you that sparked an interest in him but that he would never date you because you were a nerd and always alone so he ordered me to be your friend and then at the last moment he was going to crush you like a prick. I knew what he was going to do to you and was trying to tell you and every time I would try he would always find an excuse or a chore for me to do so I couldn't and then one day he took me aside and told me that if I ever told you that he would kill you and then kill me. I couldn't let that happen to you I don't want my only friend to die. I'm so sorry can you ever forgive me?" After she finished talking I looked over and D had tears in her eyes and then Amber did show us something that was unforgivable.

She left it up her top and on the side of her stomach was a slave mark.............. she was a slave to her own brother.

Dani's P.O.V.

I can't believe what I am seeing on Amber's body. How dare her brother make her a slave. She deserves to be treated with respect. I go up and hug her and then I do the unthinkable, I forgive her.

"Amber, how did it happen, why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't know-how, and besides my brother threaten me."

"It's ok Amber. We'll find a way to remove the mark." She turned and sniffed the air.

"Mate!!" She said it again. "Mate!!!"

Just then, Mark, the Beta came in, and instantly his eyes went black as he made his way to her. "Mate" and they kissed, so we decided to let them be alone for a bit. We moved into Ryan's office.

"How horrible, to be a slave to your own brother."

Just then we heard a knock on the door and in the doorway, Amber and Mark come into the office hand in hand. She speaks

"Dani." She starts but then hugs me suddenly. "I'm so sorry about everything that has happened, I didn't mean any of it."

"It's ok Amber. I may still be a little upset with you, but I forgive you."

"Dani, I promise not to do that to you again, but I would still like to be your friend for real this time."

"Ok."

5 years later

Ever since that night I and Amber have been the best of friends and life has been great. Amber's doing everything she can to make What could go wrong??

My hair has grown out more and more fuller. I don't need glasses anymore and I may be still thick in some areas, but it's attracted a lot of attention from the unmated boys in the pack. Every day in training I've grown stronger and stronger and my bust and butt have gotten bigger and more toned.

Ryan's P.O.V.

"She's not going to like what I have to tell her"

"I know honey, but we have no choice. We'll be leaving the day after tomorrow." said my loving wife.

Sabrina left to go get Dani so that we can tell her. They walk in and Sabrina comes over by me to sit while Dani takes a chair.

"Dani, another pack has asked us for help." She just looked at me with an 'I knew this would come one-day' look.

"So when do we leave?"

"The day after tomorrow."

She jumps up. "I only have a day to get ready, that's not enough time to get ready.!!!" And with that being said, she left the room.

"Well, she took that better than we thought," Sabrina said while kissing me on the cheek.

Hello, my name is Kevin. I'm Ryan's 'cousin' and brother to Ashton, but no one knows that. My parents gave me away when I was little because I was really sick and they didn't want a sick child like an Alpha. I visit my 'cousin' every week, but I have been away for the past 5 years due to boarding school.

"So, today is the day. I have a good feeling about today." Barked my wolf cheerfully.

I drive up to the Packhouse and get out of my car. 'Knock, knock'

"Kevin, you came. Oh good, you can meet the two new pack members." As Sabrina said that, these two girls come down, and following behind them is a guy, who looks like he is the redhead girl mate. The other girl is gorgeous and I love her walk, she walks like she has all the confidence in the world. Her eyes are so beautiful that I can get lost in them.

"Hi I'm Danielle, but you can call me Dani or D." The second our hand's touch, we both jerked our hands away and Dani left out the house. I looked out the window, saw her shift into her wolf, and run towards the woods. She's a Red Wolf!!

Dani's P.O.V.

Why am I feeling like this, I have a mate and need to stay faithful to him.

"Even though he hasn't stayed faithful to us" Barked Zoey.

"He'll come around, even though he's an ass and we haven't seen each other in the past years, we still are going to end up together regardless." I then felt pain, worse than ever, like my whole body is on fire and a big butcher knife is cutting my body open as I burn. I shift back so Zoey doesn't feel as much pain.

I ran into the woods to see where she went, it's getting dark out, I hope I find her soon. I shift into my wolf, Aaron, and go find her.

I hope she's ok we have been running for 30 minutes now.

"Look over there, I see someone in pain." Barks my wolf and we head toward the person.

"Are you ok?"

"Help me, please." I look at her and shift back to human form. I go towards her and

"Dani? What's wrong, I'm here to help."

"Please, just make it stop!!!!!!!" She faints, I then see a teardrop from her eye. She must be in serious pain.

"Ryan, I know that look," Aaron says in my head I then lean down and kiss her, her lips feel so good and soft. I pull away soon after.

"Kevin, thank you. The pain is gone now."

"Are you sure, what happened?" She looks away from me and says one name.

"Ashton"

Ryan's P.O.V.

"Did he find her yet?" I ask as Sabrina comes into my office.

"I think so, her wolf told me, she's safe."

"That's good."

"But there's one thing"

"What?"

"While she was running, it seems that Ashton marked someone else and she fell unconscious for a bit."

"Is she okay now?"

"Yes, Kevin is with her. I think they're each other's, second chance mate. It's rare, but it could be possible."

"That's good, Ryan is a nice guy," I said while organizing papers on my desk. "Well we better get ready for tomorrow, it's going to be a long trip."

Kevin's P.O.V.

"Tell me we don't have to go there today," Dani said as she turned over in the bed. No, we did not sleep together, I am just coming to wake her up.

"I DON'T WANT TO GO, EVEN THOUGH I look amazing, I can't go back there. They did horrible things to me and Amber." Just then we hear a loud bang and we get up to see Amber being held by Mark as he calms her.

Dani's P.O.V.

After a while, we both calm down, eat breakfast, finish packing, and in the car on the way back to the old Pack. Everyone else is riding together in carpool, but I decide to follow behind them with my motorcycle. I need to make an entrance and since I'm wearing a killer outfit too, I'm sure to turn heads.

Mark's P.O.V.

I'm here for Amber when she needs me after all, she's my mate. I'll do anything for her. I can't wait to see the look on her brother's face when I step upholding her beautiful, soft hand, caressing her soft red hair, and looking into those brown eyes of her.
